Удобный отель, все чисто. Номер был чистый и большой, был балкон. В отеле есть бассейн. Вай-фай работал хорошо. Завтрак вкусный, был дополнительно повар который готовил блины или яишницу по желанию.

A very detailed (and long sorry) review which I feel inclined to write as the number of 5 star ratings is just misleading people (including me when I booked). I’ll be honest it only just made the 3 rating I’ve put. Here’s why: Upon arrival (12:30am), a lovely receptionist showed us to our room. It didn’t quite live up to the pictures on the website (but what hotel actually does!) The air-con was already on (which was a great relief from the hot Turkish evening air) and it’s free for the duration of your stay which is really great. The balcony light didn’t work, but it was a small balcony so we knew we wouldn’t be using it. We were asked if we needed a safe but we declined. We hid all of our expensive items in our locked suitcase just in case. We’d had a long day so nipped over to the supermarket on the corner and picked up a packet of crisps and a bottle of water. When we walked back into the hotel, the receptionist calls us over and says “we don’t allow outside food or drink into the rooms, but I’ll allow it today as it’s late”. Now I understand not having outside food/drink around pool areas during the day, but in the room? That’s not acceptable, especially when the hotel food/drinks are about 50% more expensive than shops. From that point on, we had to sneak food/drinks into the room via a backpack and then hide it in our suitcases because we had been told by other guests that if cleaners find food/drink, they report it to the receptionists who then “fine” you and you’ll find that out when you come to leave and they present you with a bill. This also stands for food/drink you do purchase at the hotel. It goes onto a tab and so make sure you write down what you order as quite often they’ll add a drink or two on. Breakfast at this hotel is actually quite decent. It’s a Turkish breakfast and has lots of processed meats, breads and cheese to choose from. There’s a toaster and periodically they’ll include eggs, sausages, beans, potatoes and pancakes (only one of these at a time though). If you want a cooked breakfast at the hotel it’ll cost you 350TL (about £7.80). You can get it much cheaper at restaurants outside of the hotel. The restaurant also plays music whilst eating breakfast which is a mood killer. It’s depressing piano music which genuinely brings the whole atmosphere down. In terms of the staff, the pool/bar/restaurant staff were superb. They were friendly, very helpful and a credit to the hotel. They wander around during the day and ask you (but don’t pressure you) if you want any drinks/food then they bring it to you. Reception staff were good but if you have a query or request, you need to ask about 2 times before they’ll action it (I got my 2nd pillow on day 3). Now onto the housekeeping staff. Absolutely pointless that the hotel even pay them! They do the absolute minimum. The shower was dirty on arrival (mould) and in the 10 days, our floor was not hoovered/mopped once. This hotel is a bit out dated. There was no iron, the fridge was broken and we were put in a room with 2 single beds! The best thing about it was the pool.

Loved our stay at this small hotel. Lovely clean pool and plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. We were put in a ground floor room when we arrived which had a tiny balcony but upon request staff were very helpful and moved us to a second floor room the next day. Beds were really comfortable with good quality bedding. Free Aircon which was excellent and very good shower. Had to pay for safe £24 for week! No kettles in room but can be hired. Turkish breakfast mostly same each day but plentiful choice and a good start for your day. Short walk to the beach and plenty of restaurants to choose from. The hotel's restaurant the Bistro was excellent great service and food but more on the expensive side. Depends on your budget for the week. We like to try a different place each night. Blue Lagoon ok but very busy and expensive for sunbeds. Paragliding is a must in this area and well worth a go. Such an experience. Special mention to all the staff who were very friendly especially Genghis and Shanu at the bar who were lots of laughs and looked after the guests very well.

First the good. Hotel is in a great location just near the main strip and a short walk to the beach. Pool area was lovely. Plenty of sunbeds and parasols and spotlessly clean. Shower pressure was decent and beds comfortable. Now the not so good. Hotel quite noisy both during the day mainly from noisy guests and particularly at night. Nearby karaoke bar and call to mosque every morning at 04.45. Didn’t really bother us but if you’re wanting peace and tranquility not the place for you. Stayed for 10 days. By the end of the holiday the room felt grubby and unclean. House keeping was well below what was expected. Towels and linen definitely seen better days. Shower cubicle was just about functional and was in need of a refurb. I’ve not been to Olu Deniz for 10 years and things have changed. The prices throughout the resort were very expensive. The hotel bar particularly so. Nearly £10 for a Bacardi and Coke. No one really used the hotel bar. Much cheaper options nearby. You weren’t meant to take good or drink in from outside but everybody did due to the hotel prices. Breakfast was possibly the worst ever experienced in any hotel. Machine coffee was disgusting. Orange juice from a machine was made, it would appear, from powder and water. Radioactive stuff 🤢. Extra charge if you wanted fresh orange. The other buffet options were limited, not chilled and open to the elements such as flies. The restaurant where breakfast was served was in need of a refurb. Totally depressing with some odd piano music through a crackly speaker. Didn’t find the staff particularly helpful or friendly. Went to reception on one occasion as there was missing linen on the bed. They did nothing about it so went into a linen store with housekeeping and got my own. 10% charge if you settle your bill with card so make sure you have TL available. £4 per day charge for a safe in the room and £2 for a kettle. Never heard of this before. In my opinion, and I’ve been to Olu Deniz many times, there are far better budget hotels to chose from. Would I stay again … No unfortunately not.
