Absolutely terrible management - the day manager is actually deceptive - and decrepit physical plant. Avoid at all costs! We recently booked 2 rooms, including the "Falcon's Nest" master suite and 2 queen room for our boys - directly through Hilton's website. First, when we showed up, we were told valet was not available because of a burst water main in their garage and we would have to find our own parking elsewhere. Already off to a suspiciously bad start. Second, the hotel refused to honor our reservation - yes, as shady as it sounds. We received a confirmation, invitation to check in, etc., but when we showed up at the hotel we were told by the "manager" that there was someone overstaying in the Falcon's Nest, they could not get ahold of that person and we could not take possession of our room. The manager disingenuously said they called us, but neither my wife nor I received any calls from the hotel or Hilton. As a "compensation" they offered to downgrade us to 2, 2 queen rooms instead of what we actually reserved. When we inspected those rooms, we found they were dirty and not fully made up. During this interaction, the manager hid in his office and let his poor front desk clerk deal with us. We never saw him again. After discovering the condition of the "substitute" rooms, we insisted the hotel fully cancel our reservation and we left. The folks at the Hilton on Cass were very welcoming. The Pergrine is contemptuous of it's customers and the manager is duplicitous. Stay away - go to any other Hilton property.
