This hotel is extremely outdated and ran Down. The staff was all very kind but the amount of u cleanliness is just a shame. First got a room that had a plastic window on it with black duck tape. Asked to be moved and got another room that had mouse poop on the pull out sofa so dirty and just below any standard anyone should have the pool and hot tub was not maintained at all no chemical levels where tested and everyone and then you got a bad sewer smell while swimming. Never again!!!

Signs said please pardon our dust, they should have shut the floors down that had not been remodeled yet, old mismatched furniture in the room, no evacuation sign on The Room doors, patio door with no lock, patio railing that was rotting, faucets that were lose, peeling paint, bathroom door must have gotten wet at some point, turned heat on and smelled like burning flesh, ceiling in the elevator fell down, extension cords all over for power, we were on 1st floor which really is 3 levels down, pool was on same floor,( more like a giant hot tub) that caused the entire floor to be hot and rebaked of very strong chlorine. We were there for a wedding, brides dad ending up vacuuming the banquet room for 3 hours, because no staff showed up to do it, dinner was not ready on time and they then ran out of the paid for food ( potato fingerlings) and substituted mash potato’s from an earlier event held at the venue. My family and I stayed at this hotel for 4th of July for a week, when we first arrived we noticed the bathroom had mold but we decided not to make a huge deal about it, then a few days later on 4th of July I woke up with a few bites on my arm and after inspecting the bed my husband found BED BUGS under the sheets! We called the manager and he apologized and changed our rooms. We tried booking our stay at another hotel but due to the holiday we couldn’t find anything locally. We have tried to get a refund or even a partial refund for this horrible experience but the manager is choosing to ignore our request. Dont stay here unless you want to get bit by bed bugs!!

the negative reviews? That’s what everyone wants to see, updates, right? We had a flawless experience at this hotel. We are seasoned travelers and we have a small dog. We were immediately welcomed and there was zero dog odor in our pet friendly room. That really charmed us because many of the places that boast “pet friendly” don’t sanitize well. This place does. Plenty of amenities onsite. Clean pool area and they don’t price gouge on the tiki bar drinks. Great location, great lobby with a gorgeous view. I think this will be our new spot for weekebd getaways. Thanks so much.

I am a fraternity house, mom and was invited to go to their spring formal with them to the Ozarks… As you can imagine, I would prefer to stay home with 100% quiet, but I took it for the team and decided to go. When I looked at some of the TripAdvisor reviews, I was concerned, but I thought it's only two days get over yourself… I was extremely - pleasantly surprised by the facility, etc. yes, there are still remodeling efforts going on, but it doesn't prevent you from having a good time and I like to see the fact that they're making some effort as opposed to letting a property deteriorate. My room specifically was fine. The bed was great. Yes, I checked sheets etc. everything was good there no bedbugs , the bathroom was a bathroom that has been touched up and painted like every other 40 year-old building probably and it was fine water pressure good etc. The Inn is perfect for what it is meant to be a conference hotel/sales meeting destination, etc., the desk staff and other outlet employees were beyond great… Helpful friendly everything you could want in a property I would definitely go back

I don't usually ever leave reviews, but felt compelled to leave one so no one else experiences what we did. We were traveling for a high school MMEA band event that brings in thousands of students, school staff and family. The hotel restaurant had to call in staff because they had no one on the schedule. They were out of most of the food. I would have assumed they would have prepared for such a big group coming in for the event. The waitress/bartender was trying her best and was friendly, but wasn't given much to work with from her employers. The register also wasn't working and had to call in a tech. All of this, I could easily overlook but the tipping point was when our kids (students were in separate rooms from any parents) found bed bugs in their room. They were moved to another room, but it also had bed bugs. One of their drawers had women's thong underwear in it. Our balcony door couldn't be locked, it was like part of the locking mechanism had been removed. I didn't feel safe. Our toilet seat was partially broken and slid to one side. The whole toilet itself was loose. One of the bathroom tiles actually stuck to my foot when I lifted it after standing for some time in the same spot doing my makeup. I left feeling the heebie-jeebies and had to do a full on bed bug cleaning/prevention with all of our belongings once we got home. The front desk staff said a short sorry, but didn't offer anything to try to help make it right. I searched their FB page and saw that they were trying to do some remodeling and maybe under new owners. I understand it would be a hard task to undergo, but at the same time they were offering their old mattresses on FB for free and that gives me the ick!

My colleague and I had traveled early in the morning to a teaching conference in Osage beach. After the conference we checked into this hotel and that’s when the nightmare began. We walked in and the room was absolutely filthy! On top of the dirty room there were bugs on our bed! We immediately went to the front and asked to speak to a manager. William, the manager, came over and said he would go look at the room. He came back and said to have the secretary who booked our room to call him in his office. After a little bit the secretary calls us and said that he is not authorized to offer a refund on the room. He comes out of his office and we asked to speak to whoever is over him. He said there wasn’t anyone over him. We asked to have the owners information and he told us he would not provide that information to us. He said that there wasn’t anything he could do since we didn’t give him a chance to fix this or show us another room. I told him after seeing bugs on the bed who would want to look at another room, but we would entertain him. After about 20 mins he took us to another room which had food caked down the refrigerator and in the microwave. I told him to come here and showed him and he got very ignorant and said we were done and could leave. Our principal called and he told her he would be issuing a refund. We wasted about a hour and a half dealing with the unprofessional conduct from this staff. We were able to stay at a nicer hotel that was $20 cheaper! Stay away from here if you can. The pictures on their website are NOTHING like in person!

Dirty , old, and smelly. That should just about cover it. We had booked a Friday and Saturday night and left as soon as we woke up Saturday morning. After seeing the shower, we chose to just rinse off in the sink and shower when we got home. This property might have been a “resort” 30 years ago, but now it is just a one-star flophouse. Every square inch needs a thorough cleaning and update. The package HVAC unit could not cool the place - it looks like it was from the 1970s. The furnishings are ripped, gouged and old. Old food was left behind the curtain. The fan in the bathroom has a slot for a filter, but no filter. They even managed to permanently affix a ***** hair to the sink. Thus property requires you to pay the full amount of the stay upon check-in. William, the manager claims he is refunding Saturday night’s charge - crickets. And you’ll notice, the property does not reply to any of these comments. That should tell you volumes. So many other choices at the lake!

Excellent hotel right on the lake. Amazing staff and facilities. Had a great time! The pool is beautiful. The pool bar is so much fun. The staff are top notch. I absolutely love this place and always have the best time when I visit!! You need to go!!
