Suite del Ponte Normanno

The hotel was not obvious for us - when we arrived, we drove around for about 10 minutes looking for a sign before parking on the wrong side of the road, and having to call for instructions. It was our fault, as the hotel tried contacting us earlier in the day but we did not have signal to take the call. Once we were instructed to the right place, it was super straightforward as Gianluca buzzed us in remotely, and upon verifying ID, let us into the unit and our bedroom. The lift in the building was super cool - for this experience alone I recommend staying in this hotel. The room was charming. Our previous hotel was a suite so this felt a bit small, but it was homely all the same. The small downside was how warm it felt in the room. The air conditioning wouldn't work with the windows open, but it wasn't running very strong. At night, we preferred keeping the window open for some fresh air instead. The poster bed added a quaint and romantic feel to the room, and we were absolutely spoilt with a surprise of a bottle of Prosecco as a gift! Of course, the highlight of the whole place was the jacuzzi in the bathroom. As we both had to do some work and also were tired from a road trip, all of these little touches made the stay in this hotel incredibly luxurious for us. I really recommend this place for a romantic getaway or a honeymoon.

I really enjoyed my stay despite some minor issues. The suite was modern, well designed, clean with comfortable mattress and sheets. We were few minutes walk to Palermo Central Train/ Bus station, so when traffic is high, no need to take a cab and be stressed, you just pick up your luggage and walk. The property manager was very nice to us. The area was a bite odd, but I felt safe. Please note it would have been better to return before 22:30 if you were on foot. I travelled with my mum and my kid so I certainly needed an elevator. You have to give the door a Hard Push either to the elevator or your suite room and everything will be fine. I had one day an issue with the shower as the drain was clogged and a lot of water went onto the floor, my mum tried to fix it with some towels. As a Civil Eng., I understand that some technical workers did not do properly their work and I do respect someone else property, so I immediately sent a message to the manager to fix it. In the meanwhile I showered in the small bathroom we had in order to save time and enjoying our holiday. On our return it was fixed. Finally, Palermo is an very interesting city with friendly people and I particularly enjoyed my double cappuccino at Gran Cafe TORINO and dinner at SciuRum restaurant.

In data 4 novembre ho prenotato direttamente con l'Host per giorno 8, l'unica camera disponibile, la SUITE (premetto che mi dovevo recare a Palermo per un concorso), e lo stesso mi comunica che in struttura non è prevista la colazione inclusa! Ho chiesto gentilmente allo stesso se era possibile avere almeno del caffè (per far fronte al lavoro che mi aspettava nella sera/notte) e mi ha assicurato che nella suite era presente una macchina del caffè e che mi avrebbe fornito delle cialde. Quando arrivata la sera e sistemato il bagaglio (la SUITE pulita e carina), mi reco nel vano adibito a cucina per un agognato caffè... ma non ho trovato nulla. Solo una macchina del caffè, mal messa non preparata per l'accoglienza e senza alcuna cialda. Vado in frigo per vedere se almeno fosse presente una bottiglia d'acqua d'accoglienza... ma nulla. Deserto dei Tartari. Ho contattato l'Host per sottolineare che la mia richiesta non era stata "accolta" e che non era presente nemmeno una bottiglia d'acqua, la risposta è stata: "ora vedo di farlo avere" Lo avete più sentito???? Nemmeno una telefonata per scusarsi del disservizio! Il tutto per la modica cifra di 95€. Carissimo Host (se parola si addice), capisco che nella sua struttura non serve la colazione, ma ha viaggiato in altri posti? Essere cortesi con chi acquista un soggiorno nelle Vostre strutture, penso che sia un un comandamento per VOI. Far trovare una bottiglia d'acqua ad un viaggiatore o del caffè (tra l'altro richiesto e confermato) o due fette biscottate ed una marmellata per il mattino dopo (non creda che ciò possa incidere su i 95€ ricevuti più tassa di soggiorno lasciata sul tavolo come richiesta sottolineata) , sia un modo per fare al meglio il proprio lavoro e non rendere turisti solo mere banconote. Raccomandazione: si renda più cortese con chi "investe nelle Vostre strutture ricettive"

Esperienza terribile l lenzuola stropicciate e macchiate bagno sporco cosi come il pavimento della camera! Nel portone appena si entra vi eunodore terribile di sporco e di muffa! Ascensore vetusto ,per aprire le porte interne bisogna picchiarsi oltre che essere particolarmente sporco.insomma se crede di aver visto il peggio non avete soggiornato sicuramente alla suit ponte normanno corso dei mille 155 palermo

Mi avevanl rassicurato sull ascensore ,perche andavo con una persona con difficolta fisica.Il ascensore non funzionava e i vicinoi dell edificio dicono che succede continuamemte perche e antico. Non mi hanno potuto dare soluzione di riparazione ed ero costretta di anullare in loco la riserva e cercarmi un altro alloggio.Mi promettono al telefono di restituire il prepago piu la differenza dell nuovo alloggio in caso sia piu caro. Dopo ore di ricerca in strada con le valigie,troviamo una struttura un po piu cara con ascensore. Non solo che tardano una settimana in sostituire il prepago dopo aver insistito ripetutamente,ma non mi pagano la differenza di prezzo e non rispondo piu ai miei messaggi. Un grande disagio ,perdida di tempo e denaro,zero proffessionalita o etica lavorativa.Mai piu

Tutto molto positivo , self check-in rapido, stanza con tutti i comfort indispensabili, con tanto di prosecco e due bottigliette di acqua trovate nel mini frigo. Riscaldamenti sia all’interno del bagno che della stanza. La vasca idromassaggio è sicuramente la chicca, molto bella con tutte le varie luci sia sul tetto che all’interno della vasca. Penso che l’unica nota a sfavore sia la posizione del b&b o che le camere siano praticamente attaccate tra loro,ma sulla stanza in sé nulla da dire.
