Treasure Island Resort Rentals

Not the best experience. We have stayed here a few times. This trip we stayed in condo 101. We chose 101 to have direct access to the pool deck and outdoors. The inside is furnished well. The exterior is being refurbished, most likely due to the tornado in January. Our patio gate was blocked by the construction crew. Luckily, the storm damaged the metal fence surrounding our patio and there was a hole we could walk through..each condo has designated parking. Our spot got taken by a contractor a few times. One day we were told to just park somewhere else, in a spot without a number. Our 101 spot was the first spot in the parking garage. Poor management in my opinion.

This place is the cleanest, well maintained, and friendly condominium I have stayed at with very reasonable pricing. We stayed in room 2210 and the apartment was perfect. We stayed as a double family and there was plenty of room for 7 people. The apartment was very clean, had amazing views, and the staff harbored a friendly atmosphere. I personally can not brag on this place enough. All appliances worked great, plenty of hot water, easy beach acces with ramps, and plenty of space in the beach. The parking garage offered more than enough room and a very large lifted vehicle was able to fit.

Recent stay 7/30/22-8/6/22 The view is beautiful but unit 609 is not so great. The bottom of the doors are messed up. Scuff marks on the walls. Master bed (headboard) leather is peeling. Dryer door has a rope as a handle. Cleaning staff didn't clean very well. The dishwasher was full of dirty dishes, so I used the one dishwasher pod they leave you to wash them. Their was hair on the Master shower wall. Hair in the bleach tray in the washer. Hair on the microwave door as well as animal Hair on the inside. Floor had a lot of sand on it. Master sheet was stained. There was hair on the quilt and hair all over the towels. Dust was on the master bed canopy and the vent return is full of dust. Dryer lint trap was full, so make sure you check that. The pots/pans are horrible, so if you plan on cooking bring your own. 3 big skillets and I would say 1 is decent. They all stick so make sure you bring oil/butter. Fridge doesn't cool all that well nor makes a lot of ice. Cookie sheets are ok. There is a coffee maker, blender, and toaster- the blender works but not sure about the other. Bring solo cups as there are not very many glasses/cups. Master bed and it's 4 pillows were comfortable. 2nd bed was comfortable. We didn't use the bunks. Air conditioner worked well, no complaints there. There is one couch and one chair in the living room. Plenty of seating on the balcony. You have a parking space and then there is parking on the 6th floor. I would say park on the 6th floor the day of arrival or you will be waiting a while on an elevator. I have attached 10 photos.

This is a recently updated and beautiful unit with wonderful views…but the unit is in need of some deep cleaning ~ you’re asked to remove your shoes, but within a few minutes of walking around, inside the unit, the bottoms of your feet are black! The area rugs are in need of replacement, they are pretty dirty and corners are turned up and are a tripping hazard. The wall unit microwave didn’t work, and the ice maker quit working midway through our 1 week stay. The towel and toilet paper holders in the master en-suite bath are coming off the walls. The maintenance gentlemen and front desk were responsive when called, but all they could offer were work arounds (a countertop microwave, a bag of ice) For the cost of this beautiful unit, these things should be addressed.

Unit 809. Let me begin by saying that the Treasure Island Resort folks at the front desk and the maintenance guys are outstanding. They did everything in their power to help us with issues on this very tired and old condo unit. Upon arrival the floors were gritty in an indication that they had not been cleaned in a while. We vacuumed and mopped to get them cleaned up. There were dirty dishes in the dishwasher. There were dirty dishes (food on them) in the cupboards! We washed everything as we used them. We were surprised that we did not have any cockroaches. The furniture in the living room is poor. One of the dining chairs fell apart as I was sitting on it. The maintenance guys fixed it but it fell apart again. The master bed is a bed in name only. We were told that it was new. It must have been very cheap. There was a large valley in the left side of the bed. Is it too much to ask to lie in a bed that does not hurt my back? There was big mold in the master shower. The maintenance folks came to clean it up for us. The pots and pans need to be thrown out as they are past being usable. There are no sharp knives to be found in the kitchen. We have pictures documenting all of this. We asked for the cleaning fee back. No joy so far. If you are looking to rent a condo at Treasure Island stay away from this one.

We usually stay at another location and since COVID we haven’t been able to get our normal reservations back on track. So I did branch out in a new direction this trip, and spent our 8 day, week here. Very impressive grounds and beach access and private. We were allowed our pets and had unit parking (2 Vehicles). So this has always been an issue traveling; our pets and the parking! Not here… Excellent pool and lounge chairs, pool side snack bar and drinks and more! Hot Tub and Perfect Beach access. Beach chair rentals for two with umbrellas were $50 per day and other rentals are offered within a few hundred feet! Highly recommend and enjoyed our stay in unit 1706~
