Princessa Vera Hotel Apartments

Not long back from the most amazing stay at the Princessa Vera. The photos do not do it justice as there has been lots of refurbishments and upgrading to this hotel. Please disregard any negative comments you may read about the hotel. The reception is bright, airy and welcoming. The staff are friendly, polite and go out of their way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The manager has an extremely jovial personality and mixes freely with guests ensuring that they are all happy and well cared for. Our room was advertised on Jet 2 reading like the bedroom was separate but was just screened off from the rest of our large well-equipped apartment-style room. The maids came in daily to work their magic and were almost like invisible fairies. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and there was always plenty of delicious hot or cold options to suit our requirements. The poolside bar made a lovely frozen strawberry daiquiri too. We had no issues with sunbed warriors and always found sunbeds either in the shade or sun at any time of day. The hotel is close to the beach, restaurants and bars and a short walk to the bus station if you want to explore further. Paphos Harbour is a lovely walk away along the beach promenade. Thanks to all at Princessa Vera for such an amazing time.

We stayed here in August. We honestly couldn't have picked a better hotel. Not one complaint. Our stay will definitely live in our memories. We had a fantastic time. We stayed all inclusive. Food was beautiful and always plenty to choose from. Our room was spotless and cleaned everyday with fresh towels. A bonus in our room was the fridge, microwave and tea and coffee facilities. A massive thankyou to the hard working cleaners. The waiters and bar staff where so friendly, special mention to Valentin, Dani, Dimitri and Marios. Hotel manager Christos was always there to make sure everyone was ok and always available for a chat and sightseeing advice. 2 swimming pools with plenty of sun loungers. Walking distance to the beach, shops, restaurants, bars, King's Mall Shopping, McDonalds and Tomb of the Kings, to name a few. Bus stop less than minute away from hotel. I can highly recommend this hotel and the friendly staff. Will will definitely be booking to return in the near future.

Our first ever visit to paphos and we chose here and couldn’t of wished for a better place to stay we was greeted with a light modern recreation area with a friendly receptionist , we stayed in two rooms 402,404 both was with pool view which was perfect for us with having children , we stayed bed and breakfast the breakfast was always well stocked with everything and anything you could wish for from cooked breakfast to continental , pastries and fruit with juices , coffees and teas also available , the hotel manger was always on hand and he and his staff where all polite , friendly and couldn’t do enough for you they worked tiresomely to keep up the hotel’s standards , the hotel it’s self was perfectly situated within easy walking distance to bars and restaurants with the marina being around 15/20 minute walk of an evening , bus stops are also outside of the hotel with buss taking you to the likes of Corel bay and the old town , so if your looking for a clean well located place to stay this has to be the place 5*

Was very sceptical about this hotel upon booking, but I am so glad we booked and stayed here! We have just returned from a brilliant 10 day stay with them! Christos- what a brilliant hotel manager, everyone needs a christos in there hotels, from his attention to detail to engaging with the guests even the children, having a sense of humour always smiling and always being involved and being on site at all times! Any queries he will deal with asap he is the most friendliest, approachable hotel manager I’ve come across! The bar team/ waitresses/ cleaners are all fab, rooms are cleaned daily, waiters always smiling, friendly and very helpful where needed. We have a special mention to Denisa-you are now a friend for life, from day 1 she made us feel very welcome, the way she interacted with my children and ourselves it was like we had known her all our lives , nothing was ever too much trouble she truly is a great asset to this hotel and we miss her already :( ! Dani- you’re such a hard working individual, friendly, approachable person and nothing was ever too much trouble for you. Valentin- thank you for being a lovely hardworking, interacting, approachable person who again always went out of his way to help anyone where he could. The only downfall is the breakfast menu- although it does have some ok Choices already it would be nice see more variety, for someone who has very fussy children it was very hard to eat there every morning as there wasn’t much they would eat. Would be nice to see consistency in foods instead of changing the food every day and a little more selection for children. Would love to see proper sausages, poached eggs, pancakes, mushrooms without med veg mixed in, omelettes etc. Overall we had a brilliant time and cannot thank you all enough for helping in making it such a brilliant holiday! We will be back next July!!! We cannot wait!!!!

It was our first visit to Cyprus, we were unsure what vicinity to stay at, or which hotel to choose, and we chose The Princessa Vera Hotel and came up trumps. We’ve enjoyed every moment of our stay, my husband and I and our son came home yesterday, neither of us wanted to leave. We have never met such a lovely, caring hotel manager, Christos is what must be the most hard working hotel manager we have ever seen/met. His attention to detail is out of this world. He works along side his staff clearing tables etc as we say in Yorkshire he mucks in. All the staff from Croatia, to waiters/wairesses, cleaners bartenders are so friendly and welcoming. We stayed half board food was delicious at all meal times always a good selection, the whole hotel is spotless to a high degree the rooms are beautiful and the beds were so comfy. All being well, we will certainly be back in the near future. Thankyou Christos and you entire team

We are currently staying here for one week and the place is great! I booked a studio room and so glad I stayed with my option, as there is so much space and is perfect for myself and partner. Great comfy beds and a lovely balcony. The staff are all very nice and it’s in the perfect location. Literally just 5 minutes walk to Lighthouse beach from behind the hotel. At the front you have some great bars & restaurants, also kings shopping centre is 5 minutes away with a great supermarket. The pools are great and never struggle for loungers each day. Overall I’d rate this hotel & would definitely be returning.

We stayed here for one week. The hotel was clean and the room was serviced daily, towels were changed daily and the bedding was changed mid week. The beds were very comfortable. The room we were allocated was on the ground floor as requested. The pool was clean and well maintained. The sun loungers were acceptable Breakfast was cceptable but the cooked items were not hot. I cannot comment on other meals or the bar. The location was good for public transport. All staff were kind, polite and helpful.

What a great place. Food is good as is the service, cutlery was spotless and so sparkling it made me buy new cutlery when we returned home. The staff are utterly FANTASTIC always there for you and if its not right for you they will make it right. Rooms are okay, cleaned with fresh towels every day and the beds are comfy. Pools are good with plenty of beds. We will be back again, so thank you to all the staff and management for a relaxing, chilled out holiday, *****

A lovely experience from start to finish.The hotel was so clean apartment was just what we were hoping for.The manager Christos was such a smashing man made every one feel so welcome.All his staff were very attentive from the breakfast ,pool bar and Harley's bar a credit to him.So laid back is this place we will definitely be going back.The area as a whole is a holiday paradise ,most places in walking distance or a very cheap bus ride away and plenty of eateries to choose from ,if your looking for a chilled out relaxing holiday this is definitely the place 🌞🍻😎☀️👌
