I’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times for business, but it’s clear the property is outdated and not well-suited for business travel. The reception lacks proactive customer service and tends to follow procedures rigidly without flexibility or a warm welcome. The trust level with guests is low, evident by the nightly deposits required, which feels unnecessary for business clients paying premium rates. Friendly staff en good food. Rooms have various issues such as weak showers, noise disturbances from the gym and pool, and lack of proper amenities like tea-making facilities. Communal areas like the terrace feel cramped and not suitable for work, with Wi-Fi often unreliable at other area's. The hotel seems more focused on catering to locals visiting for leisure, with high prices for dining and smoking allowed in communal areas. While renovations are underway, it’s crucial to align the facilities and service with the needs of business travelers, particularly in terms of providing workspaces, good Wi-Fi, and a reception that can think ahead and assist efficiently. For the price—comparable to high-end hotels in Europe and the US—guests expect better service, more comfortable rooms, and a more business-friendly environment.
