Hotel Casa del Naranjo

Hotel Casa del Naranjo was the perfect place for my husband & I to stay with my sister & her husband. Our rooms were elegant and welcoming. The staff were helpful and kind. They even accommodated a real need on my part to do some international business very quickly. The breakfast, which came as part of the room package, was fresh and tasty. And their location can’t be beat. We will absolutely come back!

The hotel was conveniently located in the center of the city and with vehicle parking! The food was delicious and rooms were spacious and comfortable. The staff were super nice and helpful.

We chose this hotel because of proximity to a business we were going to visit. We explained that we wanted to stay 2 days, possibly 3. Before we even checked into the hotel I found that my card had been charged for a Full 3 days. When I mentioned this to the reception, she claimed this was procedure to pre-charge. When we checked out, the lady at the front desk told me they don't give refunds...even though we were not going to use the room and we were leaving the hotel because our business was complete. After some discussion, they agreed to refund 1 night. 2 weeks later they said they were not able to process the refund on my US Credit card. They asked if I could provided them with a Mexican Card to Refund to.... I provided them with that Info. 2 weeks later they said my mexican card info was not correct. I had my bank president contact the hotel with info so they could provide the refund. He walked them through the entire process on how to issue the refund to my Mexican account. They still to this day have not honored the refund request. They just keep repeating that I have not provided them with the info they need to issue the refund. While the Hotel is very nice, very comfortable and convenient, I will not stay here again because management and ownership is less than honest about policies and procedure. LMBrown Ajijic Mexico

Incredible boutique hotel in a beautiful little town in Mexico. Unmatched service, fantastic location, confortable room and wonderful dining. Will gladly return anyday. Our trip to the state of Michoacan included four stops, one of these being Patzcuaro. We were six couples and all of us had nothing but good comments regarding La Casa del Naranjo. The location was perfect, as it is located in the nicest “plaza” in the town of Patzcuaro, called “la plaza mayor”. From our balcony in our roon we had an extraordinary view of the whole “plaza mayor”. The cost of the room included a full breakfast that was just wonderful. And everyone in the hotel was very kind and friendly. One of those amazing trips that you can never forget.

This is a small beautiful boutique hotel in Patzcuaro that transports you to relaxation in a gorgeous setting. Located right in the middle of everything where you can find restaurants, coffee shops, people watching and shops where you can find unique items. The hotel has a beautiful restaurant which serves delicious food with great presentation! Upon our arrival we were greeted by Griselda Ruiz Ramos (general manager) with a warm and friendly welcoming. Griselda and her staff were all very accommodating, friendly and kind throughout our visit. Our room was beautifully decorated, fresh flowers in our foyer and dressing area and very spacious! We had three balconies, two had a view of Plaza Grande which was great to wake up to every morning and the third balcony was in the dressing area which looked out to a side street. We will definitely be coming back soon!

El lugar es muy bonito, tiene un estacionamiento a unos pocos pasos del hotel, el recibimiento y la atención del personal del hotel es excelente, y la habitación fue única. Asimismo, la comida del restaurante es muy rica y tradicional de la región.
