The unique setting of this property, with 270deg sea views speaks for itself. Add in the lovely and talented chef, the fabulous service and facilties, you won't want to be leaving anytime soon. The staff were excellent and very attentive, especially with the children. There are plenty of activities to keep the energetic entertained and quality massages for everyone else. A tempting food and cocktail menu was executed to a high level. We'll certainly be back and can highly recommend this quiet part of the world away from the hustle of larger tourist areas. A big thanks to the team at Villa Selalu for a quality family holiday.

Thank you to all the team at Villa Selalu for making our stay so very special. We can’t sing their praises enough. Our stay at this amazing villa was perfect in every way. The location and the views are breathtaking; the villa is 6 star - beautifully furnished and very comfortable; the pool and gardens are excellently maintained; the cocktails and meals were delicious, served in different locations around the villa. The village is in easy walking distance, and the private beach is wonderful - white sands, clear seas and best of all, no people ! Plenty of activities on offer - never a dull moment. We could have stayed for weeks. We’ll definitely be back !

Our entire party was extremely impressed with every facet of our stay at Villa Selalu. The villa itself is straight out of Architectural Digest in that it features clean contemporary lines, beautifully & warmly furnished with every creature comfort imaginable. The beds are 100% perfect, bathrooms large & stunning, the grounds are like a park, the pool & cabana divine & views of the ocean to die for. The food is simply sublime. There is a nearby (part of Selalu) cafe close to the beach which does fabulous pizzas on site. The staff are friendly & incredibly helpful. A couple of hundred metres away is Kokomo Resort which features a fantastic restaurant. Loads of activities — bike riding, SUP boarding, snorkeling, in-house massage, picnics to nearby islands the list goes on. I will most definitely return, it is that perfect mix of location & set up which caters to a destination celebration OR simply a relaxing holiday to get away from it all. Amazing.

I have nothing but praise for the beautiful Villa Selalu perched atop a hill on Gili Gede Island. From the spectacular views to the island paradise decor and staff whose attention to detail with every aspect of guests comfort in mind nothing was missed in making Villa Selalu the ultimate island experience. I will be back!

The smooth airport pick up, the land transfer and then the boat ride and welcome on Gili Gede were indications of how amazing the next 5 days would be. When you enter the open villa, you will be bowled over by the views and the feeling of being high above the rest of the island. The photos do not do the views any justice, as it is much more spectacular in person. As you are up on a hill there will always be a bit of a welcome breeze and we thus never needed the air conditioner and just slept with open doors. There were no mosquitos either due to the presence of the soft breeze. The rooms with the open bathrooms at the back are a designers dream. The entire layout of the villa was cleverly designed with the outdoors literally becoming part of the indoors wherever you were in the house. Every room beckoned to be used. There is even a roof top terrace just in case the beautiful views from the pool and everywhere else in the villa below are not good enough ;-). The beds and the bedding were extremely comfortable, the food was mouthwatering and the staff so gentle and helpful. They all felt like family after 5 days only. They will go out of their way to fulfill your wishes. The 5 days there went past too quickly. We spent the mornings exploring the nearby beautiful beaches and islands and the afternoons at our own beautiful pool with a view. The evenings here are so peaceful with the calls of the nightjars, interrupted sometimes by the soft chugging sound of the local fishing boats below. This place was literally heaven on earth. We all nearly cried when we said good-bye and I would go back here in a heartbeat if Indonesia were not so far away from Europe. The only regret I have is that we did not spent enough time here..... Thank you Villa Selalu for an unforgettable 5 days!

My husband and I went with our teenage daughter and her friend and we all had a lovely time. The villa is beautiful, very relaxing atmosphere with a nice big pool. We had blue skies all week but always with a cool breeze throughout the day. The staff are amazing, nothing was too much and they were genuinely happy to make our stay as nice as possible. Herman in particular went above and beyond, as did the very talented villa chef Putu. Everything he made us was so delicious that we ended up eating in almost every day. The one day we ventured out to Nautilus for lunch, we were deeply disappointed with the food and cleanliness of the restaurant. Our advise, eat in. There are also activities like snorkelling, paddle boarding, canoeing, bicycles etc. Ahmad gives a good massage, which we had every other day. Bliss!
