Le Cabanon Motel

We recently spent three nights at Le Cabanon in Pompano Beach, which was close to the venue of a friend's birthday party. We really enjoyed our stay there. It's right on the beach, so we were able to go swimming in the ocean - something I hadn't done for many years. Nice, large swimming pool and deck. The hotel dates back to the 50's, but it's comfortable enough. The hostess, Miya, was great. We arrived late since we were coming from the West Coast, but were expected since we had stayed in touch. No problems at all - pretty flawless stay. This is not a 5 star hotel but it's exactly what you would expect given how they advertise it. Location is good but I can't imagine staying here without a car unless you don't mind a 10-15 minute walk to get anywhere.

Excellent hotel. My husband and I enjoyed unforgettable days. Hotel with an excellent location facing the sea. A very clean place. Miya and Ian were excellent hosts. The bed and mattresses were comfortable and clean. I definitely recommend this place. We will return on our next vacation.

Very clean, easy access to beautiful beach. Short walking distance to beach view restaurants and fishing pier. Management was friendly and available. Relaxing environment with all the amenities you need. Enjoyed our stay and will be back.

The managers Miya and Ian were friendly and very accommodating. The pool is lovely and kept clean. The beach is amazing. My boyfriend choose to propose marriage to me on the balcony overlooking the ocean, so romantic! Our stay was perfect, and we plan on staying again and again in the future.

So this is like the 7th time here. We return because it is right on the beach (walk out your door right on the beach), there are only like 8 or 9 units ( 2 floors) sooo it is small relatively speaking, and the accommodations are clean and nice plus the price is very reasonable. It is walking distance to restaurants plus it is right next to a beach park. The REAL HIT was the managers Miya and Ian… and when I say “hit” I mean HOMERUN! I have been through several managers ( the last being the most unfriendly), but Miya and Ian were so hospitable. We had three units and Miya called the day before tell us we could check in early. The check in the next day was smooth. We had an issue with the A/C, and they replaced the unit THE NEXT DAY! Any problems and they were there to solve them. It really means a lot to have the right people running a small place like this and Miya and Ian were clearly the right choice. I hope they stay for a long time because we will be back!

Great Location right on the Beach, wake up and enjoy the Sunrise from my bed and just a few steps to the beach! The New Manager, Ian and Miya are so nice and welcoming that it just makes it even more relax, I already booked for next year!

We received a text the morning of our arrival to let us know we could check in early (how nice is that?!) but our flight arrival time did not allow for that. Upon arrival Ian and Miya were there with big smiles. They live on the property and were available most anytime to assist or answer questions. After sunrise on the deck with fresh coffee, we made breakfast each morning. The kitchen has all of the basics utensils, even some coffee, cream and sugar! The pool area was clean and quiet. The pier, shops and many dining options are a short walk away. Houstons for dinner on the water was lovely. Le Cabanon is not fancy, but it has everything you need to for a relaxing get a way, we will definitely be back!

We walked into the hotel to ask about booking on our next trip to Pompano. The woman came outside and yelled at us and said “in the office!” We started to walk into the office it’s my little 9 lb pub in a bag around my neck and she screamed “No dogs!” Rude, rude rude. Scary rude! P.S. My dog would not be traveling with me next time anyway. Based on the very unpleasant reaction of staff…I would NEVER stay at this hotel!
