Everything about the place was centered on having a classically refreshing stay in the region of Pompei with my adult son. They started by arranging shuttle service from Naples. The room was set nicely with a large wardrobe and access to a private balcony. I found the fairly firm memory foam bed to be very comfortable. The manager was fluent in English, which was helpful as our Italian was somewhat inadequate. All the accomodations worked perfectly. Security systems were set up to deter intrusions from remote controlled outer gates to door locks that work only with the key. The complimentary continental breakfast is a combination between typical Italian and American with eggs, and a meat but many pastry and fruit options. The morning wait staff were particularly helpful. When they noticed that we had not made it to breakfast one morning due to an early excursion time, they made sure that two croissants were sent to the room. The manager took about a half hour out of his time to help us with questions about Italian language and customs. The hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk from the train station, which is also the pick-up spot for many of the tours of the ruins of Pompei. In all an excellent stay.

Any closer and you'd be inside the archeological site. I wanted to stay close to the site, but far away from all of the crowds. The place is cozy and convenient, and the staff are kind and helpful!

A lovely bed and breakfast very clean and quite amazing view of Napoli’s gulf and Vesuvius from roof top Personnel and service very professional at a good price. Very close to the main entrance of archeological park of Pompei 10 minute walking.

We only chose this place because it is within walking distance (600m) to the Pompeii ruins. We were given the 2-bedroom apartment which is 150m from the reception area. The apartment itself was fine but there was no daily cleaning for the two nights we were there. Breakfast was included at the restaurant at the reception area. There were limited options for food, so we went to the same restaurant on our last night at the apartment.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Relais Country House for my visit to the Pompei archeological site. The rooms are very close to the Marine Gate and the Pompei Scavi train station. The hotel was quiet and the room was comfortable. Paolo and Imma were great people and really made me feel welcome while I stayed. They provided lots of assistance and kindness that was beyond what was expected. Downside was since I visited in the office season places to eat were closed and it was a walk to the center of town. Upside was the hotel was quiet, very close to the Pompei site I wanted to visit and the staff were beyond friendly.
