An interesting little town. Nice room, they provide, towels, robe, slippers and swim cap. Great thermal bath, saunas and hammam. The massage was just ok nothing special. Food was good but small portions. If you can get a good price worth stopping over when leaving Bologne and on your way to Florence.

It is very difficult to write a review of this place, because it was chosen for me as part of a tour and not by me. The hotel itself is lovely, the staff is very friendly and attentive and obviously the spa services are a treat. Loved the spa pool itself after a day of sight seeing. My only drawback, as it is with most hotels these days, is that they use very firm mattresses and theirs killed my back. I wish hotels offered different types of mattresses per floor and gave you a choice. If you were looking to stay off the beaten path, then Porretta Terme could be a good choice: it's a very quaint little town along the Reno river with a variety of shops and restaurants and has some great street art. Having said all this, as a person who was in Italy for the first time, I found that staying in a place that was about a hour and a half away from both Florence and Bologna by both car and train to be a little problematic, especially when there is a high speed train between Bologna and Florence that only takes a half hour. I felt a bit trapped staying so far outside the cities and would have stayed in Bologna if I had it to do over again. I find it's better to stay in a central city and travel outside of it than the other way around. But a more seasoned Italy traveller might prefer Porretta Terme.

The overall atmosphere makes you feel comfortable. Personnel dedicated to any service is kind and professional. The SPA is nice, well organised, tidy and offers very good treatments. You can feel a renewed person after even a couple of days.

Hotel storico in posizione centrale, molto ben tenuto, pulito, ordinato, servizio ottimo, gentilezza massima da parte di tutto il personale, cibo ottimo. Le terme all'interno dell'hotel sono continuamente pulite, molto utili. Massaggi top.

Ho selezionato questa struttura fra quelle disponibili nel pacchetto Boscolo "Weekend da Sogno" e devo dire che la scelta è stata veramente ottima. Bella struttura ubicata sulla via principale di Porretta Terme in un palazzo costruito nel primo Novecento. Stanza confortevole, pulita e dotata di tutto il necessario, bagno ben organizzato con saponi e shampoo di qualità. Abbiamo apprezzato anche il kit SPA (accappatoio, telo, ciabatte, cuffia e spugna per lo scrub) con cambio giornaliero della biancheria. SPA di dimensioni contenute ma molto ben organizzata e fruibile anche negli orari più affollati. Personale di servizio sempre disponibile e gentile sia alla reception che in sala colazione. Colazione con ampia scelta di cibi per tutti i gusti (più dolci che salati) anche per celiaci, servita nella sala del loro ristorante "CiPensoIO" dove abbiamo anche cenato entrambe le sere apprezzando molto il loro menù con proposte di mare e di terra ed anche piatti tipici regionali. Piatti ben presentati e realizzati con materie prime ottime dallo chef Ludovico. Servizio in sala rapido ed attento grazie anche alla presenza del simpatico e preparato maitre Antonio. Prezzi commisurati al livello della struttura. In ultimo, devo anche riconoscere la professionalità e la rapidità con cui è stata gestita un'incomprensione sul trattamento di mezza pensione (richiesto ma inizialmente non applicato). Complimenti... ...non mancherò di tornare se dovessimo passare dalle vostre parti!
