We stayed 2 nights passing through the Grenadiens and we are glad we did. Lovely room views and service. Let me add that we v much enjoyed the restaurant for our meals and could not have been more delighted. Compliments to the chef and servers.

The Liming sits charmingly at one end of the kind of sandy, palm-tree lined , unspoilt bay that you dream about when you think of the Caribbean , but almost never find. The accommodation is stylish, comfortable and beautifully positioned to take advantage of the heart-stopping location. The management and staff are delightful, helpful and professional. The only small caveat - the US$50 taxi round trip for the short journey into town. But that’s a Bequia factor, not Liming specific.

Staying at this resort should come with a warning. We were so utterly spoiled after our stay we may never want to stay anywhere else ever again. The staff were all exceptional. Even the lawn care workers would stop working as you walked by so as to ensure a calm and quiet experience. When you would go to breakfast little fairies seemed to appear in your room, magically making it immaculate. Turn-down each evening always included some sort of special treat as the same fairies worked their nighttime magic. The rooms were spectacular and well appointed with anything you could possibly need or want to make your stay perfect. The beach was lovely and the view from the open air dining room was breathtaking. - I could go on… but I don’t care to write a book. In short… just book a room here… and opt for an infinity pool. We stayed in the Whale Cay, and it was (in my opinion) the best Villa on site.

My husband and I came to stay at the Liming for partial stay during our Honeymoon. The Ocean View villa they put us in had barely any ocean and all we could see was the front entrance cul-de-sac where guests would get dropped off and both employees and guests would walk by ALL DAY. We felt so open to the hotel guests and staff, I requested a secluded location but this was by far the most exposed villa I’ve been in. People were walking all day next to us, looking into our pool, we felt really bare, I actually overheard the couple on the villa above us say how uncomfortable it must be for us, since their view was basically us and a small stretch of the ocean. For the price tag on the rooms, I would reconsider. Request a larger room or beware. I was extremely disappointed with our location and the staff did nothing to change my mind on it when I was vocal about the false pretenses we booked this under. In fact, when staff would come collect my room service food I heard grunts about how much we’ve left behind, so unfortunate because we saw and heard everything so I definitely felt out of place. Front desk and manager were accommodating with requests we had and I did appreciate that. There was no 24hr service as well, something mentioned on the flyer but not in actuality. A lot of small nuances at this Hotel, we lost power one day. Not a soul around to speak with. All in all, I was sad that during the most romantic part of my life, I had to feel this way. This was our second visit to The Liming staying in the one bed villa and what a contrast. Sadly, for a luxury hotel it fell very short and felt neglected. Just to mention a few of the issues which need addressing, the cleanliness of the rooms. The entrance door to the villa was very dirty, the shower floor and shower wall tile was mouldy and dirty, the shelf below the bathroom window had a previous occupants hair along with dust , the bathroom window had what looked like a piece of carpet secured with duck tape. Surely a roller blind would appropriately screen for the privacy needed. The toilet brush handle was missing, although when mentioned was replaced with a plastic one. Some of the walls including the entrance wall to the shower were dirty. The skirt around the bed had fallen below its knees and could not be pulled up. The closet doors around the hand pull were dirty. The towels were hard and off white. The sheets were off white and greyish, thin and worn. The interior doors went from white to yellow. The living room rug was worn and stained. The blade of the ceiling fan was very dusty. Turndown service was inconsistent. All in all with some attention this could’ve been a truly amazing experience again, It is a beautiful location, the restaurant service staff was great but the condition of the Villa was disappointing and it felt like some of the staff had adopted ‘ the art of doing nothing’.

We stayed here for 5 nights and cannot wait to return.Its so unique we loved the super relaxed vibe,super stylish pool villa,beautiful beach couldn’t fault anything.Arron the GM runs this place to perfection.Gary the chef is amazing,so accommodating if you wanted something cooked different to on the menu.We didn’t leave for 5 days the food and place was so perfect.We can’t wait to come back.Highly recommend and Bequia is wonderful such a special place.

I just returned from what was supposed to be a 10 day vacation in this “luxury villa” at The Liming!!! We left after 3 days (only because we couldn’t fly out any sooner)! The place is completely DILAPIDATED, MOLD-RIDDEN, and MOUSE-INFESTED? Beware! The photos advertising this place throughout the internet, were probably taken over 20 years ago! The fact that there was a dead mouse laying in the middle of the living room when we arrived, was clearly the first sign of things to come! The furniture is old, stained and worn. Doors and woodwork throughout the house….old and cracking. Paint is peeling through the place. The faucets/shower fixtures in the bathrooms are corroded, escutcheons are missing. Mold is evident on the exterior of the property as well as all around the pool decking. Electrical outlets on the walls are loose and crooked. The stainless on the stove/hood and throughout the kitchen is discolored from moisture and heat (the kitchen isn’t air-conditioned. There was an air-conditioner present but non-functional). When we opened the dishwasher the day after arrival, the stench could’ve knocked you over! It was clearly non-functional and the mold growing inside it was incredible (hence the foul-odor!). The windows throughout the house were filthy. The dining room chairs were so stained and dirty, we were compelled to cover them with beach towels before we even sat down. We found mouse droppings behind the TV unit and inside the electrical outlet (that was not covered) in the “media room” (which explained the dead mouse on arrival). The place was clearly infested. We were told (only upon arrival) that the house ran on collected rain water, that the water coming out of the faucets was not safe to drink, and that only the ice-maker was “filtered”. The water coming out of the faucets was literally yellow/brown! We had to shower in brackish water for 3 days! They advertise that a private BBQ chef can come and prepare a meal for you and your guests at $150pp, but the BBQ pit is not even finished (construction)? The entire place is an un-sanitary, health-hazard!! The resort’s restaurant is a complete other story. The food is lack-luster. The first night we were there, we ordered fish. The odor of it when it was brought to the table was off-putting enough. You couldn’t even get the fish to pull away from its bones. It was simply inedible. The next morning we went down for breakfast and I ordered a fruit plate. It had 4 pieces of fruit on it!! So I then requested an additional croissant only to be told that they were “all out”. We went to breakfast at 8:30a! The next day we ordered fries at lunch, only to be told they were “all out of fries”. The third day we wanted an omelet with cheese and were told they were “all out” of cheese!! To top this off, there were a group of feral cats that appeared every day at the restaurant….that proceeded to jump onto the tables (after guests departed) to eat whatever was left on their plates!! My husband and I recently traveled to Bequia and stayed at the Liming Resort. The travel to get there was extensive but well worth it. Upon arrival we got upgraded and enjoyed the beach, the people, and the food. Staff was friendly and attentive! The resort had a beautiful view and was very relaxing, it had beach games and vast amounts of privacy whether you lounge by the beach or the private pool. Angel, the resort dog, was sweet and friendly. It was a perfect getaway to a hidden gem! We will be back.

The perfect decompress after a hectic few weeks in St Barths It is quiet beautiful white sand fronted bungalow resort. Not near other facilities so taxi to town if that is your desire. We were happy to beach tennis and eat at resort.
