Hôtel Le Roi Théodore & SPA

Two weeks in a natural paradise. The hotel exceeded our expectations. The room was exceptionally clean, with daily towel changes available for the beach or swimming pool. We appreciated the private parking and the kindness of the staff. The hotel's location near Porto Vecchio center was excellent.

Based on reviews we were expecting to stay at a romantic haven. Our experience was very different and disappointing. The hotel is located in the middle of an industrial park on a busy main road. If you have a car it is an ok location as with the car you can drive to local attractions / amenities. If you dont have a car the 45 min walk along the busy road to reach porto-vecchio is not so great. If you have an electric car, expect to be waiting for the 2 x electric chargers to become available when you need them. The chargers are public chargers, and therefore paid for at your own cost, unlike other hotels in the area who offer complimentary charging ports. Same goes for the sauna which was mostly always occupied and could fit 3 adults comfortably, and the gym, which is just big enough for 4 adults (meaning that all equipment is taken if 4 adults were working out at the same time and you are restricted to the machine you chose or had to chose as all the others were occupied). The rooms are just fine, standard rooms. Each room offers just 1 coffee capsule and 1 x 330cl bottle of water per guest for the entire stay. The EURO 200 per night doesn't quite stretch to offer a complimentary coffee capsule or water bottle each day or the luxury of a hair conditioner or a body lotion. Considering that the hotel identifies as a spa hotel this was quite a surprise to me. The breakfast is really good, though and the staff are very efficient, helpful and friendly - that is the only saving grace. I would not recommend this hotel and will not stay again.

Un séjour exquis dans ce cadre avec jardin zen piscine à débordement et bassin avec roches au doux son de ruissellement … un concept unique . Et quelle chance d’avoir ces lieux calmes pour nous presque seules en plein mois d’août . Un personnel souriant . Point faible l’insonorisation et eau et capsules de café en supplément payants ! Pour le prix de la chambre la direction pourrait offrir ces produits ….

J ai apprécié beaucoup l hôtel. J ai aimé le SPA la piscine intérieure chauffée avec son sauna. J ai beaucoup aimé le confort de la chambre et ses équipements. J ai aimé la salle sport et le jardin. Tout le personnel a été accueillant et sympathique

Très bonne literie Petit déjeuner généreux et complets, si on n'arrive pas trop tard... Décoration sympathique,très beau cadre autour des piscines. Personnel très agréable à la réception, au service en salle et en chambre. Seul bémol, l'un des 2 barmen trés hautain . Préfère s'occuper de ranger les coussins que de s'occuper des clients pour leur commande. Et heureusement que sont collègues passe derrière pour servir des amuses bouches aux 3 tables occupées, à consommer leurs cocktails apéritifs. Le cadre du bar et salon est vraiment très agréable mais gâché par cette personne qui n'a visiblement pas cette fibre du service !

Prestations de qualité. Personnels efficaces et professionnels. Chambre spacieuse, literie de grande taille et confortable. Buffet petit-déjeuner excellentissime. Superbe espace piscine. La situation sur un grand axe à proximité immédiate d’une zone commerciale pourrait faire hésiter certains clients à choisir cet hôtel : il n’en est rien. Aucun désagrément. Tout était parfait

Magnifique hôtel, repos total ...que du bonheur 😍. Nous avons passé un super séjour dans cet hôtel, il est vraiment très agréable, le personnel est au top dès l'arrivée jusqu'au départ. La chambre spacieuse est bien équipée. Et les piscines int/ext splendides A très vite

Le cadre est superbe et très calme. Les prestations sont vraiment à la hauteur. Le personnel est aux petits soins, tant à la réception qu'au restaurant et il en est de même pour le personnel du Spa. Grande propreté. A recommander fortement aux amateurs !!!!

Une pause enchantée . Une décoration qui amène à l'apaisement. Un personnel sympathique et attentif. Une restauration fameuse. Un petit déjeuné très varié,de qualité Clin d'oeil au barman au top Un spa de qualité avec des professionnelles respectueuses et à l'écoute. Nous espérons revenir dès que possible.
