I Turchesi Club Village

I spent 10 days in Turchesi Club Village I would recommend it to to anyone the accommodation is super the pool is wonderful and they have entertainments going on all the time there’s a good restaurant you can eat in and a brilliant shop for self catering

This has been my forth stay in I Turchesi club village. Again we had a fabulous time. The pool is amazing and is especially good for kids and senior members of the family as you have a side of the pool that has a gradual slope. Plus you are allowed to use floats, noodles, inflatables etc. even though we went in august we always found Sun beds available. You are limited to 2 beds and an umbrella per apartment, but there are plenty of chairs to use. However the weather was sunny and hot, so we just hung out in the pool. The pool bar is good value and offers ice cream, cold drinks and snacks. There is entertainment at the pool in the morning and early evening. between the times of 12.30 and 4.00 the pool is quiet and the pool bar is closed between 2.00 and 4.00. The main bar is open all day. The apartments are pretty well equipped. Air conditioning in the main living area and bedroom. With a full kitchen, dishwasher and fridge freezer. Towels and bed linen is provided. We asked for a ground floor apartment which we got. The restaurant is lovely too, though I would of liked more pasta dishes. However we had takeaway pizza a few times and it was delicious and good value for money. I advice you order early as there can be a bit of wait on busy evening. The shop is fabulous, well stocked and not over priced. Lots of lovely Italian breads, meats, cheese etc. Infact I’d say it’s a real asset to the resort. We didn’t have a car, but this wasn’t an issue, because the shop had everything we needed. Please note: medication and tobacco is sold in specific shops in Italy and wasn’t available on site. There is a pharmacy and tobacconist in the town. The resort offers a free shuttle bus to the beach, where you will find free sun beds and umbrellas (you do have to pay extra to reserve the first 2 rows). There is a good cafe/restaurant at the beach too. The sea was delightful, clean, warm and calm. The staff overall are. Helpful, friendly and speak good English. Our TV and cooker didn’t work when we first got there. We went to reception and they sent someone straight away and the problem was sorted. Ok the entertainment can be loud, but it’s good fun. Italians love to dance and have fun. It’s an Italian resort so expect lots of that. Me and my family (15 altogether young and old) loved our holiday and will visit again. If you want to visit around the area there is a limited bus service. The resort can organise trips, but they were a bit pricey. If you have a car I recommend Matera in the evening and the magical town of Alberobello. There is a water park 20 mins away near Ginosa, that’s a fun day out and the lasagna was amazing. Overall a really great family holiday. Everyone had an wonderful time. Ok the down side, not much really. I’d love it if there was a real ice cream parlour at the resort. Plus our shower cubicle could done with replacing. I will got again and so will the rest of the family, thank you I Turchesi for making our stay so wonderful.

Wonderful Experience at Turchesi, Castalanetta Marina! Our visit to Turchesi in Castalanetta Marina was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed by the extremely friendly and helpful staff. Atmosphere: The place is charming and well-maintained. The interior decor is stylish yet cozy, making you feel at home. Service: The resort staff were top-notch. They were polite, professional, and always ready to help. Every request we had was met quickly and with a smile. Apartment Amenities: The apartments are spacious, clean, and well-equipped. The kitchenette allows for self-catering, which is very convenient, especially when buying delicious local products from nearby shops. Attractions and Facilities: The area offers many tourist attractions worth seeing. Turchesi provides an excellent pool, which is a perfect place to relax. Additionally, the beach is great, with clean sea water, making swimming a pure pleasure. Every evening and throughout the day, there are activities organized by animators, providing lots of entertainment for guests of all ages. Tourist Attractions: It is also worth taking trips to nearby towns. Matera, a UNESCO World Heritage site, impresses with its historic center and famous rock-hewn houses. Other nearby towns, such as Alberobello with its distinctive trulli, also offer unforgettable experiences. In summary, Turchesi in Castalanetta Marina is a place well worth visiting. I am so satisfied that I have been coming here every year for the past 10 years. Thank you for the unforgettable moments, and we will definitely be back!

The apartment was below standard for cleanliness and state of repair. There was mould visible over the bed, the window had one curtain where it should have had two and each time I pulled it the rail fell down. The toilet roll holder fell off the wall every time it was used. The hob was cracked and had glass missing. The shower had black mould visible from where it hadn’t been cleaned properly. The facility offers lots of entertainment that the Italian families really enjoyed. We couldn’t partake because of the language barrier. The shuttle to the beach and the provision of beds and umbrellas free of charge is an excellent option. Definitely not what I would have considered 4 star accommodation. Staff was lovely on all interactions and seemed to work hard to entertain guests.

Quarto anno in questo meraviglioso villaggio vacanze con la mia famiglia,ormai per noi è come se fosse casa. Mi è dispiaciuto però che non ci sia stata la festa del villaggio che negli anni precedenti si svolgeva una volta a settimana. Mi manca moltissimo anche il buffet che il ristorante proponeva la sera a cena,cosa che è stata eliminata dopo il covid. Per il resto ai turchesi si sta bene! Un ringraziamento particolare alla direttrice Simona sempre attenta a coccolare il cliente complimenti.
