SpringHill Suites Punta Gorda Harborside

Usual Springhill suites, parking is a real problem though at this location. They offer valet for the hotel as way around the small parking lot issue but we had to park on an adjacent street each night since the hotel parking lot is smallest I have every seen. Location is good with things within walking distance and the staff is wonderful. Very nice breakfast, maybe one of the best at a Springhill Suites I have ever seen... Overall, great spot.

From the valet to the front desk, bartenders , breakfast girls to housekeeping and managerial staff we had such a wonderful experience with friendly, helpful people ! And the rooms were immaculate and we are so very picky with cleanliness!! Highly recommend this hotel!!!! 5 stars!!

Absolutely magnificent. From the moment we entered this hotel we could smell and see how very clean it was. The receptionist was wonderful, friendly and very efficient. The rooms are so clean and have every amenity. The beds are very comfortable. At 6.30 am the buffet breakfast was available and the selection was as good as 5 star hotels we have visited. Every member of staff was 100% wonderful. There is nothing more to say!

We stayed for 2 nights in January. Best hotel room set up we have seen. Everything was very clean and well taken care of. Breakfast was the best we have seen since Covid. Every employee was friendly, upbeat and more than willing to serve. We did have a slight problem, but the General Manager address it in a way that was most satisfactory to us. We appreciate his understanding of the situation. We would stay there again.

Have spent a week at SHS each January for the last 3 years. This year was as excellent as always. Rooms are well appointed and beds are just right. The place is very clean. Only downside is there was significant street noise from the highway outside. I would ask for room away from the road.

This hotel stay was one of the best I’ve had in a very long time. Staff was friendly, hotel lobby and rooms were spotless and fresh, amenities were wonderful, bedding was oh so comfortable - even the sleep sofa/trundle bed was exceptionally comfy. Even the shower was brag worthy…it was oh so wonderful. I can’t say enough. The reading lights by the bed were just the icing on the cake. Very well thought-out design and layout. They provide a wonderful breakfast and have a cash bar in the evening- which was much appreciated after a long day of travel with bored ornery kiddos. Location is convenient to airport and other destinations.

This is our go to hotel every year we take our family vacation! I love how nice and neat this place is including the staff! I was displeased this year with the parking situation. I payed 235 dollars for a one night stay since we had one extra day to spend in Florida and of course I was wanting to stay at our favorite place! While we were out exploring we came back to the hotel late ready to get our 13 month old baby in and relaxed. As we pulled in there were no parking spaces. We asked the valet where we were supposed to park and he offered to park our car for 30 dollars!!? I let them know I paid alot of money to stay for one night I am not paying an extra 30 dollars for someone to park my car on the side of the building. I get it, it could be helpful for people who are having longer stays but not for us as we needed to be able to access our car for all our baby's needs. (Walker, highchair, stroller ect) luckily we found a spot on the other side of the building but this was frustrating at the least! I love springhill suites and would love to return here each year! I wish they could make parking more accommodating for the people who are paying to stay in their hotel! You shouldn't have to pay someone 30 dollars to park your car when your already paying quite a bit of money to stay here and the parking lot is tiny! Hopefully it will be better next year!

The Spring Hill suites in Punta Gorda is impeccably maintained with clean spacious rooms. Very friendly efficient staff throughout the hotel from the manager, front desk, Breakfast staff, housekeeping, and maintenance. Plenty of free parking available. The breakfast is always excellent with at least four hot selections, fresh fruit, various bakery items, juices, and coffee. The coffee bar has many items available from crème, milk and several flavoring items. The rooms are spacious, clean, well-appointed with a mini refrigerator, coffee bar, and couch / trundle bed in the seating area. Excellent location right off Highway 41 with numerous excellent eating establishments within walking distance. The Hotel also offers Free bicycles for local use and there are numerous places to ride including the local bike paths, dock area with shops and several nice restaurants. There is a large laundry area, pool, exercise room with treadmills Peloton, dumbbells, mats and weight benches.

Absolute Perfection! Cleanest hotel I have ever set foot in, the staff is extraordinary each one as kind as the next. The afternoon front desk girl Cali was amazing and the sweetest! I never saw her without a smile on her face! I will most definitely be recommending this hotel to all of my friends whenever traveling to florida!
