Sterling Puri

This hotel so so. This hotel very bad part is early check out this one I hate it.

The Sterling Puri Resort is located in a location where there is no chaos or rush and you can enjoy a peaceful setting while still being close to Lord Jagannath Mandir and other nearby tourist attractions. The resort has been exquisitely constructed for global visitors and has been maintained well. The staff members are really compassionate and courteous. The chefs and personnel, including Mr. Sakat, Mr. Nur, Ms. Sujata, Ms Manju and Ms. Lizarani, who constantly strive to give you the finest services, make the in-house restaurant fantastic.For your upcoming trip, I would recommend this resort, and I'm sure you'll have a great time.

The resort is beautifully located at the precipice of river Dhaudia. It's a large property with beautiful gardens and a swimming pool. The staff is polite and courteous and they have interesting in-house activities all most every day for all guests to attend. Had a wonderful stay, recommend for all families. It would be best if you have your own conveyance.

BRIEF NOTE ON STERLING PURI TRIP OCT24 1. The lobby area is very impressive with swimming pool view and sea shore 2. The rooms are at ground plus two floors without any lift …hence senior citizens should request and insist for ground floor 3. There are 12 rooms facing the sea in the reception building, mostly occupied , and my hunch is they don’t upgrade to sterling member as they offer as paid rooms 4. The sterling members get base category rooms and can get upgrade by paying extra amounts 5. The food is little expensive from the Puri standard 6. However the food quality is very good ….chef Abhijit , Sajjan Shefali and Hemant take care of individual needs …buffet spread is not lavish but adequate….. 7. Restaurant staff is awesome with always smiling face ….especially LIJALIN, lizarani , Sujata Raghunath Pradyuman and Salim ….in fact all staff members are always ready to take care of the table assigned 8. We were given a temple gift by LIJALIN with a photograph with her at the restaurant! 9. We had taken taxi services from Sahu of Jagganath travels , with good cars and drivers for city and Konark tour 10. The sea shore at the property is not a beach , it’s a marshy land , one can’t venture out there , however famous golden beach and marine drive is just 10 minute drive from property … 11. Anita, Manju and Deba reception are exceptionally helpful Overall , as a sterling member this was our first trip after almost 20 years , perhaps the new properties being added are having better amenities to the members to offer which we will surely explore …..that way with membership and utility fee and membership fee it’s a value for money proposition as we had taken membership of original sterling chennai before it was taken over by Thomas Cook india …..

Sterling Puri is an ideally located Resort very near to the beach. It is quite a huge Resort with very well maintained rooms and some of the rooms are with the Ocean View which we got after a special request to the front desk. We tried authentic Orissa Thali and we loved it. The staff in Sterling Puri is very eager to please and courteous and they always smile at you. They often indulge in small talk to make you feel at home. The biryani and fresh watermelon juice was delightful. Frontdesk Employee Manju and her counterparts were always smiling, pleasant and eager to help. She ***** with the resort manager surprisingly came to see us off at the parking and gave us Jagannath Ji Prasad. We felt quite pampered.

It is a nice experience to stay at Sterling Resort, The near by beach is dirty & not appealing. The food is good & hygienic, you can add some more fruits atleast in breakfast. Housekeeping is good. Air cooling at lobby should be improved, as most of the time it remains hot & humid at Puri. The non veg dishes should not be placed on the same table, it should be placed on exclusive table as pilgrims are also staying there, and there is a fair chance of mix up. It is my observation. Staff is very well behaved & services are good. If any thing you implement as per my suggestion kindly intimate me. Thanks.
