My wife and I stayed at the Vijola International Hotel in February 2025 Star Rating - It is more like a Two star hotel WiFi - we stayed three nights no WiFi available in room during our stay. WiFi available in reception and even here the WiFi was very very poor, not loading anything Room TV - Only few Indian channels. The hotel is named International however no BBC World news nor CNN news. The management has not paid subscription for any English Channels Cleanliness - poor, even after the room was cleaned, the floor was sticky. We had to request toilet rolls and other toiletries each day Manager - we complained to reception staff and manager each day however their co-operation was very poor. Other residents had similar complaints. Room - Furniture quite old Staff - restaurant staff were helpful and polite Hotel location- good, beach very near Advice - we would not recommend anyone to stay at this poorly managed hotel. For a Two Star Hotel the daily accommodation cost is quite high.

"Clean" (?) (see below re Pool & Dining Room!) hotel with friendly staff & service with generally tasty food some which could be spicier like the Szechuan Noodles! & drinks are served warm & not chilled as they should be! However, the dinner preparations are better than breakfast where quality can fluctuate! There is no shower curtain in place to stop the water from splashing all over the bathroom & the pool toilet needs to be kept clean as do any leaking room Toilets! & all electrical sockets in the rooms don't work! There is no Notice as to Pool Attendants being around where " Guests" feel free to Clear their Throats & Spit Out in the Pool ( hope not Urinating as well!) which is Disgusting & Unhygienic, Issues which Management should take steps to deal with ! Management should also deal with the issue of COCKROACHES scurrying ***** the dinner table which could mean an unsupervised & dirty kitchen & drains especially in a hot 🔥 climate!

The rooms costed upwards per night including gst and the room was deluxe non sea view. Bathrooms were not ventilated and the room didn’t have a balcony as well. Other properties should be considered while booking. Staff behaviour was friendly and cordial. Disappointed with the stay for the price. It was deluxe non sea view. The bathroom didn’t have a ventilation, the room didn’t have a balcony and was dark. For prices in this range better services are expected.

Hotel has got great location, nice clean decorated niladri beach in front. Food is very good. Hotels rooms are large but a bit old and not maintained. Property has large green lawn and swimming pool.

Property location and food was excellent. Stay was wonderful. It was value for money. Hotel is well maintained and there were all facilities like swimming pool, game room, open field and garden available.

The hotel is good. Nothing exceptional other than the location but nothing bad either. Breakfast buffet spread was pretty ordinary for a 4 star. Even after repeated requests for changing sheets every day, it wasn't. They just fixed the room. They were just interested in providing the bare minimum service. Customer delight was never the focus. However, they never let things get out of hand or too disappointing. Just about average in everything. 3. 5 is the most suitable rating for them on all parameters. Infrastructure/food/service.
