My Second Visit to DoubleTree Putrajaya: 24 Hours of Enchanting Bali Vibes This was my second stay at DoubleTree, and again it felt like stepping back into a serene Bali-inspired retreat—calm, lush, and beautifully designed. From the striking architecture to the warm hospitality, every detail made the 24-hour experience truly enchanting. First Impressions & Architecture The building itself is impressive—grand yet welcoming, with design elements that evoke tropical tranquility. Think natural textures, open spaces, and that signature “Bali vibes” atmosphere that instantly puts you at ease. It’s the kind of place where you pause to take photos before even checking in. Breakfast: One of the Best The breakfast buffet stands out as one of the hotel’s highlights. The spread is extensive, offering everything from local Malaysian dishes to international favorites, fresh pastries, made-to-order eggs, and healthy options. Guests consistently praise the diversity and quality—there’s something for every palate, and it sets a perfect tone for the day. Staff Who Smile and Accommodate Service here feels personal. Staff members greet you with genuine smiles, remember your name, and go out of their way to accommodate requests—whether it’s arranging checkout, recommending local eats, or helping with family needs. Their warmth adds significantly to the overall vibe. And guess what there is always a pop out message asking you after you check in just to rectify your pleasant stay ! Pools: Vast, Family-Friendly, and Fun The pool area is a major draw—three expansive pools, including dedicated spaces for kids. Families love the splash zones, shallow areas, and relaxed atmosphere. It’s easy to spend hours here, and the setup ensures both adults and children can unwind safely and happily. Spacious Rooms Rooms are generously sized, clean, and thoughtfully laid out. Whether you’re traveling solo or with family, there’s plenty of space to relax, work, or stretch out. Large windows, comfortable bedding, and modern amenities complete the experience. My Final Thoughts With its Bali-inspired ambiance, outstanding breakfast, friendly staff, fantastic pools, and spacious rooms, DoubleTree delivers a stay that’s both refreshing and memorable. I’ll definitely be repeating my trip here—and already looking forward to the next visit. Thank you ❤️

The hotel so big and have interesting facilities but we facing some issue with ants in room. after complain, housekeeping come to help clean it up again. All staff hospitality so good. Just the room is quite small for the price. Breakfast buffet quite good, just the dining room feel a bit small.

Room was spacious but toilet rather small. Back here for second time as we enjoyed the kids splash pool. Quiet and relaxing trip

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The hotel was very comfortable and well-equipped, especially for families with children. There were plenty of facilities and activities to keep the kids entertained. We also took the dinner and breakfast buffet package, and it was definitely worth it. The food was delicious, with a great variety of choices. A special thank you to Chef Akif, Chef Elena, and Chef Naim for preparing such delicious food and making our dining experience even more enjoyable. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to families with children. We look forward to coming back again!

Disappointing Stay – Not Worth the Price Unfortunately, our stay at DoubleTree Putrajaya Lakeside was quite disappointing, especially considering the price we paid. The room cleanliness was below expectations. The bedsheets appeared dusty, while the curtains were torn, old and worn out. The room simply did not feel properly maintained. We booked a lakeside view expecting a nice and relaxing view, but unfortunately, the view was disappointing as we could see an old-looking building from our room. So, the “lakeside view” was definitely not what we had expected. The Splash Pool was another disappointment. The chlorine smell was extremely strong, and the floor felt slimy and unpleasant when walking on it. Guests are required to remove their slippers before entering the Splash Pool area, which made the slimy floor even more uncomfortable and unhygienic to walk on, especially for children. The room amenities were also lacking. There was no tissue provided in the room at all. There were only a few sheets of tissue in the bathroom, which were barely enough for one or two uses before running out. For a hotel at this price point, I honestly expected basic amenities like tissue to be readily available. As for the buffet dinner and breakfast, both were just average. Nothing particularly impressive or memorable considering the price. Overall, I expected much better from DoubleTree. The cleanliness, room maintenance, Splash Pool condition, basic amenities and overall experience did not match the price we paid. Unfortunately, I don’t feel that the stay was worth the money. Hopefully, the management will take these comments seriously and improve the cleanliness, maintenance and facilities for future guests.

We really enjoy our stay at this hotel. The environment, facilities and even food are just superb ! My kids were having so much fun too. There are just so many activities can be done. The only bummer was just the check in time is at 4pm. This is the only hotel that i have experienced such a late check in. I really hope they could look into the check in time and improvise.

Our child thoroughly enjoyed their visit, particularly the splash pool. We recommend a refurbishment and renovation of the children's club, as it currently appears dated and somewhat unkempt. We were accommodated in a spacious room that included a dining table.

Had a great stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Putrajaya! Requested a quiet room and got one. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and I really appreciate their thoughtfulness, especially towards families with babies. They even opened a counter for me when they saw me carrying my baby. Great service and common sense! Definitely would come back again. ❤️

I’d like to recognize the reception team for being incredibly helpful and making sure I felt warmly welcomed from the moment I arrived. The security team was also very friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. A special thanks to the kitchen staff as well for being so accommodating and attentive to my requests. Everyone made my stay truly memorable—thank you for the excellent hospitality!

Terrible experience in DoubleTree by Hilton Putrajaya Lakeside 23 August 2026  We need to wait for long queue when check-in. Waited for 15 min, from 5.45pm till 6pm During check-in (6pm) at the lobby counter, we were informed the room is NOT READY.  I have previously specifically called the hotel at 3.37pm to get the room and baby cot ready before my arrival, however that is what the hotel informed us when we arrived and checked in at 6pm. When we reached the room 2118 at 6.10pm, towel and baby cot still not ready in the room and yet baby already need to feed.  Luggage only sent at 6.18pm after call and urges. 6.52pm only sent in towel, tissue and slippers. We reported the brownish tap water issue at 6.30pm. Technician Shafiq only reached at 6.57pm and start checking. After working for 20mins, he told is need to go water tank for flushing. We told him we will leave the room in a while for dinner. We also suggested him to advise for changing alternative room, as the problem not fix and we need clean warm watar to bath baby. This is crucial as the night is still young and we still can have time to prepare for moving to alternative room, but not to do it when it is late and we all exhausted. I cannot believe he didn’t deliver this to the customer service and the customer service only want to update me the room status when i check with them at 9.26pm, then they only told us the tap water still unable to fix, and still ask us to hold up for the issue to fix. That is unacceptable and the hotel supposed to arrange for changing room, instead of only do it after I request it. Surprisingly, they even suggest us for a downgraded room (twin guest room with 50% discount, due to unavailability of king room?), instead of what I booked and paid originally for the king bedroom. For God sake, that is the first time i hear a 5-star hotel doing this - only downgrade room to solve problem, but not upgrade room! When we arrived at alternative room, baby cot and slippers are still not ready, and i have to keep calling careline to ask for it. So ridiculous as I already explicitly stated it clear in the room booking request in Trip.com for these special request. None have been ready from 1st room even to 2nd room! I can’t believe as I emphasized to Iza (staff at check-in counter) when checked in at 6pm, I already told her I don’t want to change another room again after we settle in the room, and yet it really happened! The fridge is also not functioning well. Not cold at all and we are not able to store our breast milk . That is such a tiring and exhausting experience with you, DoubleTree by Hilton putrajaya lakeside. That is what u gave us, our first staycation with our new-born!

Good environment and service for family to stay in short holidays, for kid can play around the hotel with safety environment.
