Rehana Royal Beach Resort - Aquapark & Spa - Family & Couples Only

As a hotelier I will write the most honest review . We are 2 family stayed 7 nights in this hotel . Generally the location , the beach , pool were all perfect . Close to the airport and to central shops . About hotel- old , Arabic styled rooms with private balcony . Check in time receptionst young guy named Ahmed gave us nice room initially . He was helpful . But after 2 days AC stopped working and it was hard to sleep at night . Asked engineering however we had to wait for 2 days untill he fixes it. So I requested to change room in ground floor another Ahmed with glasses was happy to change our room. Reception team will try to help you out but unfortunately other departments are slow . Because of many guests I guess . About food I wouldn’t say we are satisfied , were very careful about meat, salads and fruits they might be expired and with smell already . Mango are given only 2 pieces . It’s mango country but hotel owner decided to econom maybe. About drinks and alcohol it’s limited . I didn’t see 5 star service to be honest . You feel uncomfortable to ask something from restaurant staffs cause they look at you in angry way. They are all busy it’s understandable but still . Overall everyone wants tips from you I do understand as local people get very low salary and everyone trying to cheat you with money . Spa is paid . But it must be free I guess . We tried to be positive not to ruin our holiday so weren’t focusing on minor things . Everyone’s holiday individually . But about food , must be careful most importantly.

The place is beautiful and clean, the aqua is beautiful, the rooms are clean, the food is varied and very good..and the staff at the place are cooperative. Thanks to all the hotel staff..thank you very much ،I hope to visit the hotel again good

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! just to let everyone know i have survived a week at the rahana! i come to stay here for 1 week with my family, was supposed to be all inclusive but the food was absolutely appalling and the drinks were barely even drinkable 🤢 There was somebody who pulled a knife out on us the first night and there was no security about, nobody who escorted us back to our rooms and not one of the staff even seemed bothered! there is nothing all inclusive about this hotel at all since there is additional charges on just about everything! Whoever has taken this hotel on has clearly run what could be a great resort to the absolute ground. My dad has been coming to egypt since 1990s and in all his time he has never experienced such awful food choice and bad customer service. We are all absolutely covered in bites due to every bed having bed bugs in and there is 10 of us! mattresses are all over the landings because quite clearly others have complained. the communal toilets were absolutely appalling, there was tissue with human faeces on, the bins were constantly overflowing with tissue. nobody had checked them for hours you get hassled constantly by holiday reps and they simply don’t take no for an answer we hadn’t even sat down and got comfortable before somebody was hassling us. not to mention the music makes us almost impossible to even relax! do not use the taxi manager he will lure you into his taxi and say it’s £5 then demand £20 when you get back and shout in your face threatening to get security if you don’t pay. Overall, egypt is an amazing place with some incredible excursions to experience but unfortunately our hotel really ruined our stay there.
