Sand Pebbles Inn

Where to begin. The owners/Managers of this place are very rude. However the front desk lady was pleasant and helpful for the 10 minutes we saw her. Nice view with a big deck are probably the only positives about this place. The sliding door to the balcony hardly worked fell off the tracks at least twice. The room was filthy the plumbing was awful. Really rundown old building that the owners obviously don't care about. Opened an old half fridge door that obviously didn't work. Stunk the room up so bad. We left a night early had no choice to stay here, couldn't afford to just stay somewhere else as my Sister was getting married. Do yourself a favor and never stay here. Never again.

I think the location is great but when I checked in the women work at the desk was not rude, she seems to be very annoyed when I ask her questions about the beaches around here. The room is alright, but run down like other reviews also the noise of the road is very loud. The beach is very rocky and hard to walk but kids had fun flipping the rocks looking for small crabs. Anyhow prob stay elsewhere next time.

This is a total dump and is horrendously filthy and falling apart. What makes it even worse are the chain-smoking trash that run it. Rude, unhelpful and downright nasty! Abrasive losers who should NEVER work with the public!! We watched them shouting F-bombs at an old couple who had done nothing out of line!! They need counselling!!

A bit run down. Which wouldn't be too bad, but there's also the grouchiest staff you'll ever encounter. We will look elsewhere for our next time on Qualicum Beach. We can overlook a lot, but poor staff attitude is

An older property located right on the beach and just a short drive to town Center. Restaurants within walking distance of motel as is a small convenience store. Large rooms with balconies overlooking garden and seashore. Very comfortable!!

An older motel, but the room we had was a good size and recently renovated. Very nice and comfortable. Lots of new linen and our room was spotlessly clean. Located within a two minute drive to the town center and right on the beach. Restaurants within walking distance. We will stay again, thankyou for your hospitality!

Great location on the beach. Parking out front. Check-in was easy. King Room with kitchen was spacious. Office was quick to give us anything we needed. We were very comfortable here for 10 days. Facing West, we got the evening light, which was great when we were sitting on the patio. It was hard to keep the morning light out in the mornings though. Walking to local sights, like the Saturday Market, brewery and grocery, was pretty easy, but you have to climb a steep hill! Restaurants are within walking distance on the beach too.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Sand Pebbles Inn. They took us last minute and gave us a discounted rate for be stranded from our home town, Port Alberni. Very much appreciated. Although, going through some renovations, the rooms are clean and inviting. Thanks again

The location was great & the room was clean but those are the only positives I can say. We had 3 rooms booked for our family to attend a very special event for our grandson. We were aware of the check in time of 4 pm but had called and were told to call on the day of arrival and they would attempt to accommodate us. We were only asking for one room to be available by 2 pm for showering & dressing. We ended up booking other accommodations at a nearby hotel to shower, dress to be ready for our event which was formal. Checked in at 4pm dropped off baggage hurrying to get to event but my husband left something behind and went back to room. The door was open and the clerk was in there. She rushed out when he walked in with no explanation for being there.Once we have the key no one should enter without our permission. Our daughters room was double booked and someone walked in while they were there with a key! Overall it was not a pleasant experience at Sand Pebbles Inn Qualicum.
