Riad Amaris

Down a street and when you open the main door to this Riad you leave the noisy street behind to luxury and serenity… beautiful finishes with tasteful furniture colours and little niches create that dreamy feeling. This is a gem of a hotel with excellent, friendly staff. We were greeted and offered mint tea upon arrival which we appreciated after a day of travel. The room was spacious, breakfast was excellent, and staff provided very valuable guidance.

The architecture, having two separate duplex rooms in the same suit, beautiful and very tasteful decorations. Amazing breakfast, the best coffee ever. Super helpful staff, Naima and Reza and the other lady. They even helped us with our laundry without charging us. Over all one of my best hotel experiences ever.

This place is just so quiet and beautiful, the staff is extremly nice and helpful. It is situated in a very quiet dead end street in the livelihood Medina. I personnaly like the colors used for decoration...and the little birds coming to chirp in the morning.

Really friendly staff. Very welcoming. Breakfast is excellent. A good price and a very good location (in the Medina and very close to the Kasbah) Rooms are very beautiful. I would highly recommend staying at Riad Amaris. Great way to see Rabat.

Love the architecture and design of the Riad. The staff showed great hospitality. The only issue here is bathroom. It’s impossible to share a bathroom for 4 ladies. Perhaps, put in disposable shower caps and hotel slippers. I hope Fes Luxury Tour will look into this matter. Thank you.

Absolutely beautiful, love the Moroccan feel and the staff were very helpful. It’s close to the entrance of the markets so you don’t have to travel too far once dropped off by the taxi. They don’t have air conditioning but instead have a fan, so if that’s something that’s important you should consider that. For me it was lovely. We’ve only stayed in one hotel in Rabat so it’s hard to say if it’s well priced but we were happy with our stay. We’ve stayed in marrakech and cassablanca as well and definitely think Rabat is the best so far. It’s a small hotel, so it is just to sleep and have breakfast. So if that’s all you need it’s perfect. For breakfast you get the same meal everyday, which is common in Morocco.

The Riad Amaris is a lovely inn, and the hosts are very attentive and helpful. On a quiet pedestrian street, it's an oasis of calm. Beautifully decorated, super-clean and comfortable. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious. Highly recommended.

This is a lovely Riad with an excellent and friendly staff. It's in a great location. The breakfast was excellent and the property is lovelier than the photos. I needed a room with a desk and got a small-ish room without one on the top floor. No complaints there--it's what i had booked. But since I was the only occupant of the hotel and this was Eid where _everything_; literally everything is closed for days, I asked if they could change my room for one with a small desk. They graciously and willingly obliged. (Hint to all B&B operators: if a guest has booked a room and they're the only one staying...upgrading them to a better one immediately...you will ensure better reviews and loyalty, without any additional cost. In short, Riad Amaris was excellent. Two small quibbles and an observation: It would have been nice if there were more outlets in the rooms (or if double adapters could be provided). This was important because of the second quibble: there is no AC, just fans. So, for instance I had to choose between plugging in my computer/phone etc. or a fan as there were too few outlets to accommodate them both. the observation: many of the larger rooms have a sleeping "loft". This looks very chic, but you have to mount pretty steep stairs to access the "bedroom". I didn't have a problem with this, but others may so it's worthwhile keeping ikn mind. But a very good experience overall.
