NONTRANSPARENCY IN BOOKING/CANCELLATION & DEFICIENCY OF SERVICE, MAKE MY TRIP and HOTEL HOLIDAY HOME RANCHI Booked two non refundable rooms via Make My Trip. Paid upfront 10k to MMT. Due medical issues, we were not able to use stairs so we upgraded to deluxe rooms via hotel directly and paid Rs. 3360/- for the upgrade directly to Holiday Home. A medical emergency resulted in having to cancel the trip and we tried cancelling the booking almost 15 days before our trip. We were met with stiff resistance from MMT for any refund. MMT website offered an option for refund by uploading medical documents. However uploading medical documents was impossible through this website. Moreover when we contacted Holiday Home with a request for the refund of just the upgrade amount of ₹3360/- paid via UPI to them, they refused, citing "account issues". My booking of one day for two rooms was not given even a partial refund by MMT nor the upgrade of ₹3360/- paid to Hotel Holiday Home directly. Would NEVER recommend Holiday Home Ranchi to anyone due to inflexibility and attitude of the place. MMT be blacklisted for service deficiency. All traveller, Be Warned ! Anamika Ray
