Tudor Lodge - Redcar Beach

I booked a one night stay at Tudor Lodge, Redcar, through OYO Hotels. The booking was made a week before my intended stay on 13th July. My booking confirmation said I could check in from 15.00 on the 13th. When I arrived at the Tudor Lodge at 15.20 I found the hotel locked with nobody there. I returned several times during the evening but still nobody there. It was getting late so I had to book another room at another hotel, at more expense. I complained to the Tudor Lodge and OYO Hotels but they are both evasive and not interested. I have asked for a refund of my £48 but so far, no reply or refund. I will never use the Tudor Lodge or OYO Hotels again. BEWARE!!!!!

Stayed for 1 night and have to say for what we payed we cannot complain at all. From the outside it is very outdated. But when we got in it was very clean and the host was very pleasant and helpful. We had family room number 3 and room was spacious with double and single bed, sink in room and a tv with free Wi-Fi. The room was very clean and tidy and for a budget hotel we couldn’t have wanted anything more. The bathroom at the end of the corridor was clean and tidy. We would go back without question. Thanks for the pleasant stay.

Disgraceful Hotel management rubbish was led to believe it was a dog friendly hotel but it wasn't they took our money but refused a refund so we didn't get to stay will never book them again and never use *********** again
