Reykjavik4You Apartments

Excellent location and is a few minutes walk from the rainbow street. Have its own parking area so perfect for those that start/end the trip with rental car. My advice is try to get the upper floor as I was allocated the GF which is the -0.5 floor versus the public road. So you wont able to sleep very late of a day, which can be good or bad. Other facility is all great and better than the hotel I stay earlier in Reykjavik.

What a pleasant stay. Our flat had it all what was needed, space in spades, a nice kitchen (with a small terrace), great living room, a big bathroom, a room with a comfy bed. Everything was comfortable, and the location is great, better than we thought it would be. Close to the heart of touristic Reykjavik, with a supermarket just some meters away… Only drawbacks was that parking is quite small, just good for four cars -there’s a public parking quite close-, and that it’s got no elevator. We were on the fourth and last floor -third in reality, as ground floor is already named 1-, but that turned out to have a magical effect: on our first night, thanks to not having any more storeys above us, we unadvertily spotted big and wonderful northern lights in the night sky, something we wouldn’t have noticed if we didn’t have that terrace in the kitchen with nothing above us. So, magical stay here.

Our stay was absolutely amazing, and booked this on last minute holidays. The apartment is literally in the Capital or Reykjavik and easy to get to on the buses from the Airport. Everything was good and provided. It is accessible as this has a lift to the rooms.

Stayed here for 3 nights, although there is no reception, email communication was prompt and attentive, which I preferred than a conventional reception. After an early arrival the staff made every effort to store our bags and contact us as soon as the apartment was ready. The apartment was very spacious and well appointed. WiFi and kitchen were great, take t- bags with you, non provided and expensive in Iceland. The bathroom was large with a corner Jacuzzi, unfortunately due to the apartment being in the roof space the shower head was fixed to the wall low down. At 6'2" this was a bit of an issue, for the less agile it would cause a problem, but as this building has no lift, the less agile wouldn't be able to access this particular room anyway, but this was a minor point and we wouldn't stay anywhere else now in Reykjavik in the future.

We rented a 1 bedroom apartment which was very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped, and everything was clean. Check in and check out were quick and easy through email or via the app. Hotel location was in a good area and close to many shopping and historical sights. We were able to walk 2 blocks to a Kronan grocery market for food supplies which helped us save our money for eating dinner out or other experiences.

Fantastic location, warm, comfortable apartment in the centre of everything. Not stocked with any items of condiments or tea coffee etc and be warned, Iceland is expensive. Bed was vey comfortable. Nice stay in a quiet road round corner from pubs,food,shops etc. 5 minutes from the sea and view of mountains too.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Check in instructions were sent ahead of time with a helpful video. The apartment was spotless and well equipped with everything you needed. It is located in a perfect location to explore and close to local attractions and restaurants. Our apartment had a small balcony and a beautiful view.

Firstly, you really can’t eat the location, right in the centre of Reykjavik, 100 metres from the ‘rainbow road’! Keypad entry with code was a bit temperamental at first and we called the 24 hour helpline and they let us in remotely. It was fine once it had reset. Free parking behind the apartment was really useful. The place was very clean and well equipped. Wi-Fi and TV worked fine. Plenty of towels, and a good hairdryer. If we were suggesting an improvement, some milk in the fridge on arrival to go with the small amount of tea and coffee would be helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to rebook here if visiting Reykjavik in future.

The place was infested with bedbugs which is disgusting in itself. Aside from this it was ridiculously expensive for what is not well-maintained, cramped and unclean apartment. Do not stay here unless you want bedbugs.
