We have stayed at this hotel before without any issues but this time it was one to remember for the wrong reasons. Upon arrival the reception was deserted and we were greeted by a poorly spelt message on an A4 piece of paper which read “For assitans please press the buzzer for 2 seconds” When someone eventually turned up they told us our room wasn’t ready even though we were supposed to be able to check in after 15:00. So, after a long drive with two children with us we had to wait in the reception for the room to be made available. Eventually, we were told our room was ready and so we made our way up with all our luggage only to find we still couldn’t get in as the room was still being made up! When we did manage to get in the room, the electronic key slot where you have to put your room key in to activate the electricity in the room was hanging off the wall with a mass of black gaffer tape! We didn’t feel safe using it to be honest. Then we hung our first coat up and the coat hook fell off the wall and onto the floor. Wasn’t the smooth start we hoping to have for our two night stay.

Cassie on front desk provided a very warm and friendly welcome on arrival, room was spacious clean and comfortable, location ideal for the town hall where we were attending a wedding. Good value for money. Lots of ammenities on the door step.

It was so friendly! Parking was so easy. Food was very good, although the Rice Crispies felt like they'd overstayed their visit! Breakfasts were excellent, and always freshly-cooked, if necessary. Good variety in Evening Meal Deal, and no complaints here. I had a small plumbing issue with my toilet seat, but it was swiftly remedied. Very convenient sea-front location with sea-view (at least my room did, which was very close to the two lifts on the 1st floor. The staff were great, but there needed to be at least one more all the time. Two servers aren't sufficient when these two alone have to take orders, run the bar serve the food, AND be on Reception every time someone needs help. Reception is CCTV monitored, and when anyone comes to to the unmanned Reception a loud buzzer is sound and one of the two working in the restaurant must stop what they're doing and make their way to Reception. The staff are wonderful, but are clearly under pressure all the time. Serving time is very slow, but personally I was in no hurry! Premier Inn must address the staffing issue, because otherwise two many corners are being cut, and the overall level of service definitely suffers, which is a pity! I didn't get the names of all the staff, but Cathy (manager) was lovely as were Ni and Tiger-Lily. Alesi was so lovely to talk to, as was David and Graham (?) - (maintenance).. They all felt that that had any amount of time for you, like going out of their way to ask how the food was etc, even if they didn't have a second to themselves. However, they made me feel welcome the whole time. Diolch yn fawr Ian!

We was greeted by reception and cared for with extra pillows and towels and spoilt at breakfast. A lovley stay, after a superb nights sleep. Our stay was just great, and stopping at premier was justified by the service and comfort. Thank-you premier team rhyl.

Hotel was ok we booked a twin room the first room was a double so we went down and got a twin to find the sofa bed wasent made up so told them at 4.oclick and was told someone would come up and make it up. We went out at 6.30 still now one had been it so told them again same answer I get someone to go and make it up. Got back at 10.0clock still no bed made up so mentioned it again eventually a women said I'll go and do it now .she didn't look happy that she had to do it didn't even say sorry about it . Also the bar shut at 10.15 which didn't give us much time to have a drink. After a brilliant concert. And a catch up with friends .got told at 10 45 to get out of the bar.as it was closing. This was in a Friday night .

Clean, comfortable rooms. Hotel could do with a little face lift. Some areas strike you as basic and not welcoming. Hard colours make the hotel look a little drab. It meets my needs, as a place to stay whilst visiting an elderly relative in a nursing home, but I would not consider it for a holiday break.

Stayed over night had breakfast frendly staff great breakfast ordered hot chocolate machine not working easy to book in and book out very quiet hotel lovely view of the sea had a twin room restaurant for breakfast closed at 10.30 am plenty of time for breakfast never stayed is this one before highly recomend

The staff here were really helpful and kind to me during my stay. The hotel is so centrally placed, clean and the rooms well equipped. The restaurant is calm and a nice atmosphere as it is only open to residents. The breakfast here was usual high premier inn standard with lots of choice.
