Be very careful about refund policy. They now charge 100% to your credit card MONTHS before your stay. I have stayed there many times but this time I was unexpectedly hospitalized and could not fly to Maine. I called them immediately, over 3 days prior to my stay. They would not give even a partial refund OR credit. In addition, she was pretty rude and informed me they had never only charged 50% deposit. This is totally untrue, as I have proof, but I think the difference is if you reserve on the phone or online. Either way, this is a nice place, althoug there is no coffee in the room, but absolutely not worth the attitude.

The view is wonderful. Room was spacious and very clean. Sitting area inside the room and you also have your own private balcony with harbor view. They even include binoculars which I think they said was for viewing the seals. Coffee is served in the lobby which opens at 7:00am (although they were open earlier). It would have been nice to have a coffee pot in the room as we are early risers but it really wasn't that big of a deal. Carolyn and Dana who were working the front desk were very nice and helpful with suggestions. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely beautiful!!! Ladies at the front desk were so sweet. We only booked one night. Rooms were so cute! We drove to Bar Harbor but decided to come back & stayed a second night. Little lady even made a pot of coffee just for us. Sunrise was amazing over the water! Definitely recommend this one!

Stayed in the other sister Inn on the same property last time. This Inn is just a cute & quaint and comfortable as the other Inn. So clean and quiet too with such a gorgeous view. We hope to return again one day. Absolutely love all the nautical decor!

Our room was typically fine, and the staff friendly and helpful. But the point really is the balcony overlooking the bay and the glorious lawn where you can walk down, and if the tide is low enough, get down to its own little beach.

Clean rooms and beautiful ocean view! Just south of Camden and a great place to stop over on the way to Bar Harbor. No elevator and the one flight up is kind of a long one, so ask for a room on the main floor if stairs are a challenge for you. I appreciated being switched to a main floor room that was so close to where I parked my car. Staff was friendly. Noisy pipes, but otherwise quiet peaceful place to stay a night in August.

The Inn and especially its grounds are exceptionally well maintained. The housekeeping staff left our room A++ clean and tidy every day. The room was a bit small. The view down to the bay is peaceful and scenic. There is only a small refrigerator in the room, but we could keep quite a few items cold. It is very conveniently located to all points along Coastal Mid-Maine. Rockport, Rockland, Camden are just a few minutes away. We recommend the Farnsworth Gallery, Fresh and Co, Mt Battie trail climb, Zoots as worthwhile nearby activities and places to eat. Also, Bleecher and Greer. I highly recommend Strawberry Hill for its ambience, location, and bay view. A guest should take into account its small rooms and small refrigerator.

Absolutely perfect stay! Rooms very clean, large, decorated so cute and quiet. Gorgeous view of the bay from our deck. Grounds are beautiful and well manicured. We didn’t use the pool but it looked great. Comfortable chairs to sit by the water. Location is very convenient. Would definitely recommend.
