I reserved a pet friendly non smoking room over the phone . When I arrived, after driving 9 hours, the hotel had given me a room that was not pet friendly even though I confirmed ahead of time. As i was unpacking my car, I was informed that the room was not pet friendly so we were moved to another room. The room we were moved to was a smoking room although I requested non smoking. Upon entry of the room I was overtaken by the cigarette smell and informed the front that i could not stay in the room because of it. Front informed me that the pet friendly rooms were full and if I could just manage the night in the room they would be able to switch me to a non smoking room in the morning. I informed them I do not smoke and could not stay there. I was then given the option to get a full refund and go somewhere else if I wanted, mind you this is 1 in the morning. I told them I was confirmed days ahead of time for a room. After reception spoke to a manager we were put in a non smoking and non pet friendly room. The room was upstairs, the walls were filthy, the door to the bathroom got stuck when opening and closing it, it looked as though the front door had been kicked in on the bottom, and not to mention the roaches that greeted you . I was also informed that I would incur fees if my dog were to ruin anything in the room, however, the room looked as though it had been damaged before my stay. The room is outdated and needs remodeling. I was so very disappointed in my stay and will never stay here again.
