Is there anything worse than getting to a room you reserved and paid for just to find out the property won't open the door, won't answer your messages and won't answer phone calls or emails from the company you booked through? If there is, then you found something worse than BB Plus. They literally will not respond to messages (you're warned that can take days by the booking site) yet they ask 'please contact us 24 hours before arrival'. We finally gave up and got another room in another place nearby. Of course it cost more than the room we booked a month before arrival and we had 3 days paid for. Tonight is our second night in Rome, no response from the property management yet. So we're in another hotel tonight. Even the popular booking website I booked through can't get them to answer. The best advice I can give anyone is forget any thought of booking this property. I can't say it's a scam, I can't say they're thieves, maybe they had a personal issue. Maybe they are just terrible managers. But I have lost time and hundreds of dollars. My Credit card says they'll recover what I paid, but they can't cover the additional cost that comes from last minute bookings.
