We visited the Rashleigh Arms for 2 nights. We were very satisfied with our room and with the amazing breakfasts. All the staff were lovely with a special mention for Joe at breakfast. Also Charlie who kindly changed our room immediately when a couple of things were not quite right. We felt that customer satisfaction was important. Overall a great place to stay with plenty of parking (grade 2 listed car park so cobbled and very bumpy!). The Rashleigh Arms is a popular restaurant in its own right but it is also within very easy walking distance of other wonderful eateries in Charlestown.

Stayed in one of the harbour view rooms in separate building which was lovely and clean with a super view and was very comfortable.Bathroom a bit tired in decor with a few cracked tiles, but good shower if a bit on the small side but perfectly adequate for a couple of days. However, the pub itself is pretty grubby inside and pretty tired. A few pleasant bar staff, but some looked quite bored and helping customers was a bit of an effort and chore, considering it’s a tourist area, think the staff could do with some training in how to do hospitality well! Bar area where Breakfast was served just looked a bit grubby and tired with food being very average, coffee very bland, we didn’t bother the 2nd morning and went elsewhere on the way home. So would stay in the separate hotel building again but wouldn’t bother with breakfast or the actual pub.

We had a very comfortable stay at the Rashleigh. The room was spotless (commendations to the lovely housekeeping staff), beautifully presented and superior quality. There were lots of nice touches. Good value for money. Minor quibbles were the slightly tired decoration and the deterioration of a well used but stylish en suite. The breakfast sausages need urgent attention! They spoiled an otherwise lovely food experience (dinner and breakfast).

Nice noisy friendly vibrant pub with grub. Gets busy, need to book a table for food during high season. Nice tasty selection of food. As expected local ales/beers/spirits. Large outdoor seating, undercover too. Access is over old cobbles and granite pathways. Old historic venue, well worth a visit

Always a pleasant stay, I use it regularly for business, better value than the usual business stop hotels, bars always lively, rooms clean & comfortable and the food is always excellent The world famous car park is horrendous but it’s an historic port so nothing can really be done about the cobbles, part of its character I suppose

The quality of the room was excellent. Lovely dressing gowns provided. The relaxing pillow mist spray was a nice touch. Bottles mineral water was replaced daily as was tea, coffee and biscuits. I ate in the restaurant in the first night and food and service was excellent. The breakfast options were top quality. Would book again in a heart beat

Nice and laid back experience, bath robes were provided with herbal pillow spray and good showers, just what we needed. Good complementary breakfast as well. Was a pitstop on our way back to London, much needed one at that. Parking spaces are a bit dodgy and the reception is a bit hard to find ( it's at the bar) looked like a good ol family owned business.

Sadly, our experience at the Rashleigh on a Monday lunchtime was disappointing. The staff were very pleasant. However, service was very slow - we had to chase for our food 2 or 3 times, and the restaurant was not busy. The Symplicity Burger, although a pleasant taste, was tough, stuck to the bun and no cheese to be identified. It may have been reheated? The soup was pleasant but with no flavour of truffle. Other meals were adequate but nothing special. We didn't complain as a couple of our friends were embarrassed to do so. Towards the end of our meal some builders started drilling right behind the table, and then painting - the smell was quite astringent. The overall feeling was that they did not want to be open, so perhaps they had a busy Sunday?

A bit disappointed with our stay after a four year gap. Staff and cleanliness were great but we did not expect to be in an annex to the main hotel in a very bijou room which was barely big enough for the furniture it contained. It was immaculate and the bed comfortable but too small and out of the main hotel. Would not stay there again if the annex was the only room offered. And we booked direct with St Austell, not a third party and so expected better. Food was good and service wonderful but the menu was more or less the same as other St Austell hotels we stayed in that week. A bit unimaginative really. What happened to allowing places a bit of freedom of menu choices and offering specials. A bit dull.
