Travelodge by Wyndham Motel of St Cloud

The facility needs an upgrade both inside and outside. Bathroom truly needs to be made more comfortable and needs better linens.

Even if you can ignore the rotted sewage odor that permeates the place, your room won't be well-cleaned, the 'security' door is left open because the key card reader doesn't work, the toilets run all night, the free breakfast is garbage, and the managers don't care. And you'll wake with a backache, if you can get to sleep at all on the horrible mattresses.

Recommend this hotel. Exceptionally clean. Friendly, professional staff. Great breakfast bar selection.

I was stuck in town because of car troubles and I stayed here for one night. The rooms were small and the features best described as shopworn, but everything was sufficient. The bed was comfortable and I slept well enough. Breakfast was a prepackaged bag of granola bars and the like. The front desk staff were pleasant when I needed to interact with them. All in all, the hotel was fine and I’d stay here again.

We stopped here on our way to North Dakota, didn't have a reservation, just needed a place to rest for the night. The check in fellow was very nice, he gave us a rate under $100 for a room with 1 bed and a fold out bed. Everything looked newly updated in the hotel. All the hall rugs looked brand new. Lobby was very nice and inviting. Our room looked newly updated also, the rug looked new and even smelled new. The room was spotless. Furniture looked new. There were plugs by the bed. Nice flat screen tv though we did not use it. The water pressure in the shower was awesome, noticed a few imperfections where they repaired the shower curtain but everything in the bathroom and room itself looked freshly painted. The bed spread looked new also, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was a grab and go bag that had a water, muffin, fruit cup and granola bar. Overall no complaints, nicest Travelodge I have ever stayed in, I doubt I will ever be in the area again but if I was would not hesitate to stay here again!

Good service clean rooms hot coffee in the lobby. Brown bag breakfast which I sorta liked. Great for early check out.

The experience was good because the service was great. However the hair dryer was broken so I had to go to the front desk to get one. Sage was very accommodating and helped us with a luggage lock issue. But the A/C didn't work at first and I had to open the window. Which is very concerning when on the first floor. But A/C kicked in. The rooms are so small you can barely move around. It's ok if all you need is a bed. But they don't have king beds. So only a queen and not so comfortable either. Good luck getting to 2nd floor if you can't do stairs. There's no elevator. But they do have accessible showers.

Be ready to turn the heat on during the winter as it is not on as you arrive. The motel and rooms feel outdated and leave alot to be desired. Rooms are not very sound proof and pillows are not great. Clean rooms and friendly staff were the only bright spots of this stay for me.

I would only stay here as a last resort. The hotel smelled and needs updating. Our room was hot and the AC didn’t work. There is no breakfast! I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. Beds were okay. Bathroom is very small.
