Regarding access to the hotel outside reception opening hours, it is secure and practical so that everyone can maintain their independence, and discover and enjoy the nightlife in St Malo. As for the rooms, they have different sizes depending on their category, but are all identically equipped so that our customers can rest, have fun or work. Resposta da propriedade: We take note of your comment and are sincerely sorry for the inconvenience you encountered during your short stay in our hotel. We do our best to welcome and serve our customers as best as possible; unfortunately, we are "human" and no one is safe from negligence. Regarding the used underwear, it seems that it was a lack of vigilance on our part, but absolutely not a lack of care, the room having been cleaned and yet indeed checked before check-in. We cannot explain what happened. In any case, it seemed to make you laugh so much that we found it good to laugh with you. Furthermore, given that this is the kind of oversight that happens regularly, we weren't really surprised, but that doesn't mean we took this inconvenience for derision. As for the alarm, it went off because someone smoked or vaped in their room. We are absolutely not the cause of this ringing which is above all a security measure. It is well written and specified that smoking is strictly prohibited in the hotel. Despite everything, there are always a few individuals who do as they please. And, if there is anyone who should compensate our customers, it is the person at fault itself. Even if we occasionally make discounts, have special attention in very specific cases and yet a personalized welcome for each of our customers, it is not possible for us to offer breakfast or make a reduction in these independent circumstances of our will. Also, know that the hotel was full... so breakfast should have been offered to everyone present that night? It was a festival weekend with a lot of comings and goings, which is why we may have been careless. As for the room, perhaps a superior room with a street view would have suited you better. That said, thank you for highlighting the pretty decoration of the premises and the courtesy tray provided in the rooms and the excellent location of the hotel. For the rest, we regret not having been able to give you complete satisfaction. We hope that these incidents will make you laugh in hindsight and that you will keep good memories of Saint Malo despite everything.

You can also easily go to the large Sillon beach on foot and walk around the ramparts. It is therefore an ideal strategic point for discovering the old town and its treasures. It is therefore a strategic point ideal for discovering the historic center, but also for exploring the Emerald Coast and the surrounding areas: Dinard, Dinan, Cancale and of course Mont Saint Michel. As for the rooms, they are all very well equipped and very comfortable to ensure total rest. The rooms have all the necessary comfort and equipment and are accessible by elevator or stairs at the convenience of our customers. In addition, we are delighted to have been able to welcome you, to serve you, to inform you and to advise you as best as possible in terms of restaurants, activities and we are happy to have revealed to you a little of the history of St Malo and its treasures. We are pleased to have delighted you with the warm atmosphere of the hotel, its ideal location close to everything, the authenticity of the place, the unique decoration of your room, the comfort of the bedding... We are also delighted for having been able to welcome you and be pleasant to you during your stay. As for our breakfast, as we answered you on an other comment, it is presented in the form of a buffet of local products (cold meats, cheeses, yogurts...), pastries, breads, cereals and homemade cakes... To this are added unlimited hot drinks . We also offer eggs (fried eggs, eggs with bacon, omelettes, etc.), but at an additional cost, because it takes time and requires labor, and, what's more, it is not served usually in French breakfast. However, we do serve eggs. The supplement menu is displayed at the buffet level. Also know that all our products are fresh and quality and that we also have fruit and a range of gluten-free products to satisfy all appetites and diets. Next time, don't hesitate to ask us! As for the unstable toilet seat, it can indeed be annoying, but it has been repaired since we act as soon as we have a problem ! And as for the turtles, they have always lived in captivity since we got them. They are doing very well, have never been sick and live in a habitat that has been controlled and approved by the various animal protection associations. Everything is clearly written on the poster stuck on the aquarium to silence gossip on this subject. We love animals very much and it is inconceivable for us to mistreat any animal. I did not fully understand the meaning of your remark, which is why I did not respond to you on this subject on your Booking remark. Now that everything is clear, it would be a pleasure to see you again at the Hôtel des Abers!
