San Antonio Cruese port very near. and shuttle taxi can , but about 10 USD. Shopping mall is same buliding, and lot of food, and big Supermarket.

Pre-cruise overnight was OK. Hotel had good housekeeping & the room was neat & clean & the furnishings appear to have been recently upgraded. As other guests pointed out, the A/C worked OK during the day but simply stopped operating early evening. We requested a fan which worked OK for us but may not be ideal for others. Next morning the A/C was back on & operating again. The included breakfast was acceptable & the hotel is also connected to what may be San Antonio's primary shopping mall, which includes some fast-food outlets & large grocery store for snacks, drinks, sundries, wine etc. The major downside is the hotel location. While it is located right on the harbor front & offers $5 per person shuttle transfer to the cruise ships, the harbor front is a disgusting mess. The roofs of adjacent restaurants are totally covered in bird feces & the overpowering stench will make your eyes water. There are a few kiosks along the harbor front but nothing of interest. While photos of the San Antonio harbor front leads one to expect a charming fishing village it is quite the opposite. One short stroll through the dirt & stench was enough to send us back inside the shopping mall & hotel. While the interior of the hotel is OK, the owners & managers do not remember the last time they actually cleaned the bird droppings from the building or windows. All the front desk, housekeeping & restaurant/bar personnel encountered were pleasant, courteous & eager to help.

I would recommend this hotel for anyone taking a cruise on NCL out of San Antonio. The room we had was clean with a beautiful view of the city and beach. The price included breakfast which included eggs, sausage, pastries, coffee with hot milk or frothed, and other items that you wouldn’t expect for a simple breakfast. The hotel is also close to stalls in which to purchase souvenirs and food such as empanadas. Our hotel was also connected to a small indoor mall which was nice to walk around in. It met our needs for the night.

The hotel is just ok . Don’t expect internet as there is no internet except in the lobby. . Trying to just get air conditioning is an adventure. There’s nothing to do in San Antonio except to get on a cruise boat !! Probably best to come one day before and just spend one in the night in the hotel that’s more than enough time in the area !

I rarely whine or complain about any accommodations. Stayed there Jan 6th, 2024 (night before a cruise) Am disappointed in how staff handled my complaint about no air conditioning in our room. Room temperature was 29 Celsius which equals 84 F. Multiple calls/visits to front desk resulted in a maintenance guy finally showing up to room. As the hotel was at full occupancy and as the problem could not be fixed, their 10pm offer of a free meal seemed inappropriate to me and did nothing to address/appease the situation. In fairness of reporting, they did bring a fan to the room, which only served to circulate the 84 degree air.

This was our final stay on land before embarking on a cruise out of San Antonio. And while it's a perfect location and generally good hotel, it was actually our only option. I arranged a room with a view - it was on the 11th floor and did not disappoint. Watching the array of boats and ships working and moving throughout the bay was like watching a tilt shift video. I could have spent an entire day doing only that. Unfortunately, however, the AC did not work in our room so roaming the streets of San Antonio was a good alternative. There was a breakfast included with our stay, but that was nothing to write home about. Hotel staff in general were not especially helpful or friendly compared to two other hotel stays in Chile. They did have sign-ups for a $10 (USD) taxi ride in the morning over to the cruise terminal, but otherwise didn't go out of their way to interact with guests. Regarding other options in the area, there were several non hotels but they didn't offer the level of comfort of a hotel (excepting the non-functional AC). Had I been traveling alone, I most likely would not have stayed at this hotel.

We had read the reviews before booking and had a good idea as to what to expect. This isn’t a Marriott, but it’s certainly a good place to stay. Check-in was quick and easy and our room was ready (at 1:30 PM) so we were quickly in our room. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was softer than we prefer but we got two great nights sleep. Breakfast had a good selection of cold items and had scrambled eggs and sausages. Lots of fruit especially. We had dinner at Jokers in the attached ******. It was excellent! As I said, the room was clean and it had an awesome view of the harbor. Lots of things to do in the immediate area...none of which are Americanized. The fish market is immediately below the hotel and it attracts lots of gulls and sea lions. One thing the room doesn’t have is a hair dryer. Bigger deal to my wife than me. We would definitely stay here again.
