Horrible experience. I recommend you stay away from ever booking this hotel. They stole $400 from me and when I complained and told the front desk, the incompetent general manager blamed me and told me that basically I don’t travel enough. Unbeknownst to her, I am a platinum member and have never felt unsafe at a Marriott property until I stayed here. The customer service is highly lacking and no one is properly trained in hospitality. The parking is very far away and you have to call them to open it after hours and good luck getting someone to help you. The hotel is also located in a a very loud part of town so you will not get any sleep. Please do not stay here.

This is a lovely hotel that managed to well serve a group of 18 despite the fact that the hotel had changed ownership within two weeks of our arrival. Despite having no liquor service due to license transfer delays and limited food service, a new employee, Jean Luis managed to feed us, serve us wine and cover us nearly single handed. He is a marvel of hard work, long hours, and devoted service. I am in the restaurant world in California and would steal him in a heartbeat if it was possible. He is an inspiring lesson in what a difference a single employee can be. Without him, this hotel would not get 5 stars. The beds are dreamy. The place is lovely. The roof garden & pool is terrific. I did get the impression that young friends of management may have use of the facilities however. Umbrellas are needed up there. I recommend this hotel.

I am so glad I stayed at City Centro. It is in a beautiful location right in the middle of this city I grew up visiting since I was an infant. I love Mexico and San Luis is my second home. I plan on staying here again the next time I am in the city.

Fantastic renovation of an older courtyard style hotel. Friendly and efficient staff from the kind lady at the front door to the always helpful english speaking front desk staff to the caring and welcoming restaurant staff. Smart design choices cuts down on the noise these wonderful old hotels always struggle with. The balcony doors require hotel assistance to open. AC works great. Beautiful terrace on top. San Luis Potosi surprised and delighted me and this hotel was the perfect home for my first visit.

The property is really nice! A great blend of historical and modern design. The staff was very attentive and the room was great. The rooftop terrace is amazing. They have bikes on loan and you can take advantage of the Ciclavia on Sundays from 8am - 1. Overall great experience and highly recommended.

El Hotel no cuenta con estacionamiento propio y tienes que ver en donde estacionarte antes de hacer check in. El restaurante ofrece puntas de filete en su menú pero la carne no es filete sino bistec. Ofrecen jugo de naranja en desayuno pero es agua de naranja. Se tardan de 10 a 15 min en atenderte. No hay mucho que hacer por la noche.

Muy mala experiencia, es el unico de la cadena que no tiene desayuno incluido, le pregunte a la señorita y me dijo si aqui esta la lista se tardo demasiado para estar solos y que solo sirviera 2 hotcakes en lugar de 3 como estipula su carta, no tiene estacionamiento ni convenios mal mal
