We stopped by in this pretending good hotel listing a lot of comforts , but we realised that the room paid was very small with an old uncomfortable mattress and a vintage tiny bathroom/shower. They offered us a drink, but at the garden the boy could not accommodate us in a table because could not move a chair from another table. We left and coming back we found a better waiter. The spa is somewhere else, difficult to reach and use. Not very useful. The worst experience was the restaurant service. We arrived at 7.30 after they said we could go and find a table for hotel guests, but they could not accommodate the 4 of us with a kid because a pretending owner said we did not book in advance. In advance when? There were plenty of empty tables, but they could not manage the empty table without a booking. Then the pretending owner with no sense of respect for clients said it was not her business if a I bad mother did not book in advance a table at the restaurant. Quite Rude, isn’t it ? Should this lady work at the entrance of a restaurant? It is clear the lady does not know how to behave with clients and I do hope future potential clients will look for a better location to stay in San Quirico d’Orcia until the property of this hotel will learn how to behave with this kind and business.
