We spent one Friday night in Room 453 (there are 5 floors). It was right next to the elevator but the soundproofing was superb so no noise issues. Bedroom window had a nice view of the hills in the distance. Very spacious suite, each room with a large TV and updated furniture. Microwave, mini fridge, and small packet 2-cup coffeemaker provided (Rainforest Blend) average taste. My disappointments were pretty minor. The breakfast offered custom cooked omelets but the juices were seriously watered down and the silverware was cheap enough that no one is likely to steal it. The indoor pool, while nice, is very small. The TV if a bit funky with no numbered channels, just flip through the guide of streaming channels. Towels had no fluff. Lighting in the rooms was average, not super bright. One of our 2 wastebaskets was not emptied, as it had a lot of candy wrappers from the previous occupant. Finally, charging a pesky $15 parking fee, even if you are staying on Hilton Hhonors points, feels a bit nickel and dime-ish. Hence I did not think the property earned a "5." For an upscale county like Marin, there are surprisingly few high quality hotels but fortunately this one checks most of the boxes on my list. There is a nice walking trail just outside the door that circles around the neighboring ponds and creeks. The desk clerks were very welcoming and helpful. The houskeeping staff and breakfast staff seemed to work quite hard.
