Nog nooit zo slecht hotel gehad in mijn leven en zoveel geld voor betaal!! Service superslecht mensen knetter chagrijnig en super super smerig!! Na eerste dag al weg gelijk terug!

we can tell you that we really liked the complex. There really is a large selection of options for the whole family. The beach is spacious and you can always find a lounger with an umbrella. The bungalow was also renovated and suited us very well. The cleanliness was very good. Unfortunately, there was a lack of F&B. The half board offering was very poor and, in our opinion, at 2-3* level!☹️ There were hardly any things left on the buffet in the morning from around 9:15 a.m. It was refilled and refilled very slowly, if at all. We also complained because there wasn't even any bread left. It was slightly improved for 1 day, but then unfortunately it was the same thing again. There is only 1 chef who cuts every slice of cheese, salami, etc. for 100 guests. Very poorly coordinated! The evening meal is unfortunately not made with much love, but is more of a mass-processing affair. Unusual for Italy, a lot of it is overcooked and tasteless. The 2 included restaurants are usually overcrowded and otherwise completely overwhelmed and the food is at canteen level.

I visited Forte Village Resort as part of a business group. Overall, everything was fine but it was honestly overpriced though I won’t complain because I had a great time. I was supposed to leave the resort later in the day as I had a late flight so I politely asked the reception if it would be possible to check out a little later, as I had to wait the entire day to leave with the rest of the group. I was clearly refused with the excuse that they were fully booked and that nobody could stay even 30 minutes longer. That morning, I got sick, but still left the room as instructed at 11:00, waiting outside until 4:00 PM for my transfer to the airport while feeling really unwell. When I met the rest of the group, I discovered that every single person had been granted a late check-out time as requested—everyone except me! I felt sick, sad, disappointed and humiliated in front of the whole group as no one could understand why the hotel forced me out while allowing everyone else to stay. My previously good experience at the resort was completely ruined. I spent the rest of the day feeling terrible, especially as I had to take several connecting flights just to get home. My question is: why don’t you apply the same rules to the entire group, instead of treating me like this - kicking me out like I was disposable while showing zero regard for my well-being? This terrible experience overshadowed my entire stay and I will probably never return. There is simply no excuse for what happened.

We were excited for this holiday as it cost in the region of £12,000 for 7 days (2 adults and 3 kids) and have enjoyed other parts of Italy so really didn’t have any nerves regarding issues. Upon arrival we were a few hours early so had to wait for the room which I understand but we made our way to the kids pool next to reception, I have to say as a first impression it was horrendous, filth around the pool, generally looked as though it hadn’t been cleaned all summer. At this stage we were filled with dread as to what may be at the next hurdle. We were under the impression that we were getting a refurbed bungalow so was shocked to see a dated cramped room with an even more dated cramped adjoining room attached to the back that would potentially be used separately for a single person/couple. The rooms were attended to daily by great staff but I guess are under pressure to get the beds made etc so can’t really get it to the clean standard you’d expect at this price. I did go to reception to make the staff aware that the room wasn’t satisfactory and was told it would cost me £800 - £1000 per night to upgrade. Gianni the manager who was a pleasant man wasn’t able to help but I do understand he’s not the owner and is probably trying his best to accommodate everybody whilst managing budgets for staffing. We tried most places for food and we thoroughly enjoyed that side of it however the one exception was the evening buffet at Pinneta which honestly i’d struggle to give 1 out of 5, you weren’t even able to pick the food yourself it was awash with staff to hand out food that would be more fitting in a homeless shelter. The majority of the pool areas were never attended to in terms of cleanliness so always felt dirty and was always standing on something in the pool (not dangerous but annoying). By far the most annoying thing was the constant dodging buggy’s and bikes with small children in our party, it felt like I spent 7 days diving into bushes to avoid being run over. I can’t comprehend money being invested in entertainment staff in the breakfast room at 7:30am when this place needs people really keeping on top of its housekeeping. I don’t think anybody cares for a singer at 7:30am. To summarise this trip 1 - Staff are amazing throughout 2 - It really needs a thorough clean 3 - Bring your expectations down if you’ve been to Dubai/Maldives/Greece as this isn’t as close. 4 - Clean, Clean & Clean!!! 5 - Don’t expect paradise and you’ll do ok!

A mile out . I just don’t think they understand the competition and what other hotels for even a third of the money can provide for you elsewhere . The hotel itself is pleasant enough but on the first day alone we had to stand and wait for a table at Breakfast , there was nowhere to eat dinner apart from the Buffet which was very poor with not much selection. No chance of getting a sunbed around the pool whilst a Vokda and Ginger ale is €40. I tried to explain to the management about all of the above but they just think they are great . “We have been going since 1970, lots of people come back” The sports offer is good for the kids but we won’t be coming back. Overpriced and like I say they are a mile out from providing a good service , or even a service worthy of the money they charge.

I wouldn’t bother booking this resort! Spend your hard earned money else where! If you want to set your own breakfast table every Morning and be sat waiting for meat at the Brazilian for ages even after asking for them then be my guest. High prices and low staff is what this place is about. Fighting for Sunbeds every morning. I will not be returning!!

I had the most incredible experience at Forte Village in Sardinia! 🌴🌊 The resort's location right by the Mediterranean Sea is a visual dream come true, offering everything you need inside the resort! There is plenty of space in the rooms and they are air-conditioned, which is a must for me! The staff is friendly and attentive. Excellent hygiene standards and plenty of towels! The service was top-notch, with the staff going out of their way to make my stay comfortable and memorable. 🏖️ Several guests that I met have been visiting the resort every summer for years, as a couple or with their family, which is impressive! The range of dining options serving both Italian delights and international cuisine was a gastronomic delight. I highly recommend going after dinner to Tikki for shisha, cocktails, and a boogie or a glass at The Wine Bar with live entertainment. The Thalasso del Forte Spa is a must-visit for relaxation enthusiasts. It consists of six pure Sardinian seawater pools offering the ultimate detox. Sports lovers will be spoiled for choice with golf, tennis, water sports, and an upbeat HIIT class. If you're looking for a luxurious escape and are ready to splurge, this place is worth it. 🏝️ All in all, Forte Village offers a lavish retreat in one of Italy's most beautiful spots. If you're up for indulgence, relaxation, and an unforgettable time, don't miss out on this gem! ✨

We don’t recommend staying at Forte Village. It’s not all bad, the beach is nice and we can commend the evening entertainment at the piazza as well as kids club. But ultimately Forte cannot escape its heritage and history. It’s now more than 50 years old and some of the facilities / rooms are very dated (not all). The concept is also outdated, focused on keeping guests and their wallets inside the compound, barely interacting with let alone celebrating the Sardinian environment, culture and cuisine. Ultimately also its ownership shines through (the resort is owned by Chechen-Russian oil men since 2014). About 1/3 of the guests seem to be Russian, 1/3 English football families, the rest Italian and others. The price charged is not justified in terms of facilities and service (we stayed in Bouganvillia boungalows) even before you account for some of the optional children activities which are charged at high price. Activities and booking of places by the pool and sea seems uncoordinated and haphazard. Most of the food that is included in the price may look attractive but the taste is bland. Plus the wifi network is very poor (unless you pay a surcharge)!

We have just returned from the most amazing week at Forte Village. This was our first holiday in a resort and as a family of 4 (children aged 3.5 and 7months) and it was the most brilliant experience. From the moment we arrived to the minute we left, everyone was so helpful and friendly - not in your face but obliging and making the stay feel effortless. The site is vast but the landscaping doesn’t make it feel so. It’s beautifully lush and green and the atmosphere created is serene. The Aqua Park was brilliant as were all the pools. The beach was so clean and service was excellent. We visited the Children’s Wonderland for our children to play and use the pools but never left them for the kids club as we wanted to share our holiday experience with them - but those there seemed to be having a great time and staff were great. Our eldest loved the train and nicety of golf buggy rides. We had the added bonus of being upgraded from Bougainville to a bungalow in Castello which was amazing. We didn’t take full advantage of all the other restaurants - mainly due to the age of our children and ease of the buffet, but we were so impressed at the offering and variety for dinner - lots of lovely seafood and salads. We aren’t the sort of people to normally return somewhere on holiday, but we would gladly come back to Forte Village (when our budget permits!). My only niggle is we left some children’s toys in our room and emailed immediately and have also tried calling and messaging via Facebook but so far no one has replied…we will gladly pay for postage but just hope they can be returned!
