Just had a fantastic weekend break at the Gower Hotel . Would highly recommend. Fantastic service and had a lovely Sunday lunch also. Great family run hotel with a great atmosphere. The bar is brilliant with lots of beers and wines available and a lovely log burner.

We had a lovely Sunday Lunch, the food was really great, all our party had different starters and then a beautifully cooked traditional Roast, served charmingly and efficiently by a young server. The draft beer on offer was excellent too. The restaurant was surprisingly quiet and I really hope more visitors and locals give the place a chance

Lovely location. We stayed on the thrid floor bedroom was so warm it was unhealthy, you were unable to turn the radiator down. You are unable to eat food in the room and bar area. The owner can be found drinking a large glass or several red wines after breakfast service even though the bar doesn't open until 1pm. The owner has no hospitality skills at all. Very disappointing.

What an amazing find! We stayed for one night as we were booked in for a meal at the Rib and Oyster which is less than 10 minutes away by car. OK, so not the most modern of hotels but an amazing welcome. There is a lovely little bar, with a log fire. The service was second to none - I absolutely cannot recommend enough!!! The rooms is basic, but clean, warm and homely. Booked in for breakfast in the morning which had to be pre- ordered and really looking forward to sampling this.

Home cooked, enjoyable food with attentive service. Classic pub-style approach that is just is done just that little bit better. It felt that there was a genuine effort by the staff to do as much as they could to look after us. A good wine list and nice cold beers.

Stayed at this hotel for two nights. First appearances can be deceptive. It’s an old building but don’t let that put you off. We had to call into the hotel to find out where to park. Couldn’t find any staff but someone showed me a sign with directions. At this time of year parking was easy. I’m told it can be difficult at peak times. We were not allowed to book in before 3pm even though room was ready as it was quiet. Other than that the staff are really helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Freshly cooked to order. We didn’t eat dinner at the hotel so unable to comment. The room was perfectly adequate and again nothing was too much trouble. I asked for fresh milk for the room. If we needed a hotel in Saundersfoot in future then this would be it

We spent 6 nights at this lovely hotel. Had an issue with parking on arrival, due to another guests inconsideration. The staff were extremely helpful and helped with suggestions as to where might be available nearby ... A little inconvenient but quickly remedied and we had no other issues. Every member of staff was very pleasant, kind and courteous. The lady who was cleaning the rooms provided extra tea, milk and biscuits without any queries and changed our cups on request. It is made very clear that if you want your room serviced, you only need ask. During our 6 night stay our breakfast every morning was freshly cooked and lovely! We had 2 evening meals in the restaurant and these were both really lovely and a good price. Nothing, during our stay, was any trouble for anyone. We had a delightful visit and will definitely return! Many thanks to all of you, warm regards from room 17 residents, Dave and Wendy

Great location in the middle of Saundersfoot. Easy walking distance to the beach, and across the road from the bus stop to Tenby. Lift to all floors, parking at the rear. Cleaning could be much better. If you want your room serviced, you have to put a chalkboard outside the door, this was not mentioned at check-in, but there is a notice in reception - if you look for it! You also have to order breakfast the day before! No fresh fruit or choice of yogurt at breakfast. Get your own tea and coffee. Restaurant closed for dinner as no bookings, but no obvious menu available! All a little tired and Fawlty Towers like!

This is a super hotel. The staff could not have been any more helpful. We travelled as a family group with children and grandparents. They provided everything we asked for and they met all our needs. Every staff member was so helpful. The restaurant food was lovely. Much better than we expected it to be. Would highly recommend. Very good price as well. The rooms are very clean and recently renovated. Lots of car parking. Thankyou to all the wonderful staff
