Hampton Inn Seguin

Very nice and very comfortable! Would not hesitate to stay here again, and the hot breakfast (6:00-10:00am) was excellent with omelettes, sausage patties, bacon, biscuits and gravy, plus the usual. The Dutch Brothers across the lane was a welcome sight for coffee in the morning.

it was okay the food was good i stayed in room 224 and i got bit a lot by bed bugs and my bites started to blister its not a very pleasant thing so me personally i do not recommend because there might be bed bugs in your room or just make sure its not room 224😬😬

We recently stayed at the Hampton Inn located in Seguin. The hotel looks newly remodeled. The room was very nice, comfy bed and the breakfast was good. I would recommend this location. It is also close to Guiseppe, an Italian restaurant, were we had dinner.

Very pleased with this hotel. Stayed two different times and both times were very positive. The hotel was very clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast but better than most. The dining room was clean, food was hot and fresh, coffee was good. Definitely would stay here again. Richard was especially helpful. The only problem was that my husband left a pair of shorts in the room when we checked out after the second stay. We didn't realize it until 24 hours later. We called to check if perhaps they had been turned in but they had not. Our mistake! PS...I like the tile floors in the rooms. I feel they are cleaner than carpet.

Absolutely the worst hospitality experience EVER. Had to change rooms and even hotel locations 3 times, at 2am, after a 14 hour drive, 2 softball players, all of their gear, suitcases and ours!!! The night manager, Richard U, offered us a $40 a night refund because of the inconveniences. At first, we thought, ok fine, our girls were dead tired and had a Showcase the next day. After 5 days, our girls tried to take a break and go swimming at the Holiday Inn ( the hotel we eventually got a room at), and the pool had WORMS in it!!! Needless to say, after spending $971.00 for 4 nights, we could have stayed at The Hilton itself. Then, at checkout, we had to go back to the Hampton Inn where we originally booked our room, months in advance, we’re told, Richard U had no right to offer us any compensation!!! Because we booked online and through a third party booking (affiliated with Hampton/Hilton) they can’t compensate for all of their mistakes. I spoke with, Greta, the hotel accountant who stated, she would honor Richards word and send a check the afternoon of our checkout. Upon arriving home and the day before Thanksgiving, Richard emailed us on his day off to tell us that we would NOT receive a party refund because he never said anything of the sort. We didn’t ask for compensation, IT WAS OFFERED TO US by the manager. He didn’t even want to discuss this in writing, he wanted us to call him at his convenience??? This place is a joke, the hospitality is a complete mess and they are as dishonest as they come. Softball families STAY AWAY!!!! We spend enough money as it is, the absolute headache and crap show at this establishment is NOT WORTH OUR TIME AND OUR MONEY!!!! Side note, we cannot even get accountability of our disastrous stay on our Hilton Rewards program because it was booked using THEIR third party.

This is probably the worst Hampton Inn I have stayed at. They had plug in air fresheners plugged in all through the hallways like they were trying to hide that it smelled bad. We had 2 rooms. One of the rooms smelled like it had been smoked in and they just tried to mask the smell with air fresheners. For someone that is hyper sensitive to smells, all the air fresheners wreaked havoc on me!

The hotel was clean, the bed and pillows super comfy. The hot breakfast was plentiful. But, it is people that make a difference. Richard was so extraordinary that i felt compelled to write my first review ever. If Richard could only be cloned! He goes above and beyond for every guest to make their stay the best. We were a family of 5 visiting our grandson who attends TLU. Richard made the stay perfect! We will return to this hotel every time we visit our grandson.

Don't leave anything in the room when you go out to dinner or breakfast. Of course, I can't believe I would have to take bags with me each time I leave the room to avoid theft. The hotel is not responsible for things stolen. I had a bag go missing from my room while I was out at a funeral and they claim no responsibility. Cleaning crew was starting to clean rooms when I went out but I couldn't find them anywhere as I walked down the corridor. Just rooms left open and a cart in the hallway. No personnel were at the front desk when I checked in or out. I had to wait until someone showed up. Even with the neglect of their duties, they claim they have no idea what happened to my bag.

Absolutely disappointed in this Hampton Inn. Not up to Hilton standards by any means. They have renovated some rooms and the work looks like it has been done by a child. Terrible painting, poor wallpaper and caulking. Uneven floors. I could go on and on. It looks like there is no pride of ownership by the operator. Worst $170 I have spent in a long time. In town for a family wedding and would never stay here again.
