Excellent throughout, although not perfect.
The bathroom could have been better. It had no hooks for clothes or horizontal surfaces for cosmetics. The floor was cold. The shower floor was not anti-skid, and there were no hand rails. The shower water control was located such that your arm was sprayed with cold water as it was tuned on.

Lovely rooms in this quaint hotel in Seneca Falls. We were there for just one evening and we enjoyed it. Free parking in lot adjacent to building. Had a cocktail in the martini bar while listening to live music. Walked down the street to the famous bridge and had dinner at Sackett's Table. This hotel was quiet and great for a nights stay. One downside was the free breakfast was a little lackluster (bagels, granola bars, OJ, and oranges/apples. They were out of coffee). But there are not really other choices for breakfast nearby so we made do!

Anthony the manager of the Gould Hotel, sincerely cares about all of his guests. I had booked a room for two nights at the Gould but due to an unexpected power outage at the Inn we were booked at, we needed to find new accommodations prior to our booking. Anthony personally spoke to me late in the evening and assured me he would find a room for us. We arrived late that evening and were given a comfortable room. In addition, I had asked Anthony prior to my trip if he could send me any information regarding the wine trail and winery suggestions. His suggestions were outstanding in addition to the daily service, morning breakfast and overall friendly and efficient staff. I highly recommend staying at The Gould.

We have stayed at the Gould Hotel when we have had concert tickets at Del Largo. Rooms are spacious and reasonably priced. One drawback is that only several rooms have the mini fridges to keep your drinks cold during your stay. In addition you are within walking distance of the bridge where parts of "Its a wonderful life" was filmed. The community is also home to the National Women's Rights museum.

The Gould is a pretty historic building. Unfortunately, the service at this hotel is abominable. The front staff help watches Netflix instead of assisting. The Hotel was not full at all as we arrived on a Tuesday. They put us in a room facing the street which we didn’t think would be a problem because the town is very quiet. Needless to say we were awoken at 6 AM by very loud traffic. When we inquired at the front desk, why we were put in that room if the hotel had a lot of vacancy she responded that’s just how the system does it. No apology. Lake The breakfast is all processed food, and the thermoses of coffee were empty.

What a nice little hotel! We really enjoyed the comfort, design, quality, and cleanliness of the room and bathroom. Manager Anthony helped us with an issue with the HVAC in our room and couldn’t have been friendlier or more gracious. The continental breakfast was generous, and the space for it was wonderfully uncrowded. The attached restaurant’s menu sure looked good for dinner, although we didn’t have the opportunity to try it; that is on our list for next time. The Gould is perfectly located for a variety of Finger Lakes activities, and early Spring was the ideal time to visit, with mild temperatures, late-enough sunsets for long days of sightseeing, and no crowds anywhere. We can’t wait to return and will definitely stay at the Gould again!

This is my 3rd time from Kentucky yo The Gould…. OUTSTANDING every-time! Management and staff are amazing. My husband is here every month 2+ weeks! There are not enough good things to say about Anthony and staff!!!

When you arrive at the hotel for your stay, don't be surprised when they tell you that the room you reserved three months prior, is no longer available. And when you demand that they correct the situation, they will tell you to take what they have or leave the premises. That is what Tony the manager conveyed to us when we arrived at the hotel. Tony wouldn't meet us at the hotel to discuss this, he conveyed that message by phone. Research the area and you will find that there is a Hampton Inn located very close to this place. The rooms are large and comfortable, the facility is very clean, and the people working there are very helpful and courteous. The three nights we were suppose to stay at the Gould was spent at the Hampton Inn.

The perfect place to stay!!! Rooms are spacious and clean with a newly remodelled vibe! Staff is super friendly and our stay included a continental breakfast every morning. The hotel’s restaurant had amazing food and great martinis!!! It’s perfectly located in the heart of Seneca Falls, in easy walking distance to all the fun shops, gorgeous century homes and historical museums.
