Aurari Camp

We spent 2 nights at the Aurari Camp. And it was the experience of a lifetime. The luxury tents as well as the friendly atmosphere and amazing food were just breathtaking. We spent 2 days on game drive and had the great guide Godwin who managed to make the whole experience even more memorable. We saw four out of five Big Five and the Mara river crossing of hundreds of wildebeest and zebras. And this in only two days. Thanks to everyone at Aurari Camp!

Aururi Camp was a wonderful place to stay! The staff was top notch! Beautiful Lodge, amazing grounds, delicious food and the safari team (thank you Sarah and everyone) was the best! I highly recommend a visit.

From the time we arrived at Aurori camp we knew it was special. The staff greeted us upon arrival and our hostess, Sara, made us feel right at home. She and the staff spoiled us for 3 nights and no request was too big. The food at Aurori was out of this world. We had 3 and 4 course meals for lunch and dinner and the breakfasts were wonderful. The chef and her assistant were outstanding! There are only 4 tents on the property and our group resided in 3 of them. The tents were beautiful, constructed on huge wooden platforms. We had a sitting area, king bed area with a beautiful writing desk and complete bathroom with double sinks and shower. We also had a back deck as well as a front deck. The zebras loved hanging out with us. If dark, we were told to flash a blinking light to be escorted back and forth to our tents. The wonderful staff was always close by and appeared out of nowhere when we flashed our flash lights. Finally, our guide was Steven. I can’t begin to say all the good things about him. He was professional, knowledgeable and wanted us to see as many animals as we could. In fact, we saw all of the big five but the rhinos. We saw cheetahs and leopards and, the highlight of our trip was when we saw the great migration of the wildebeest! Steven waited patiently one morning on a hill overlooking the Mara River. Suddenly, the wildebeest formed in a single line and began their run to cross. Steven quickly pulled up to the river’s banks and we saw thousands of wildebeest cross. It was the most exciting and amazing spectacle. He never let us down! I would definitely go back to Aurori Camp in the future.

This camp was amazing! We woke up to Wildebeast on the side of our tent two different mornings, it was incredible. Sara (and the whole staff) was a gracious host and made our stay fabulous. The tents, service and food were better than most hotels I’ve stayed at. Thankful that Anicet Phillips at Safari King chose the perfect place for us.

We loved this camp, super comfortable high quality tents, amazing food and service is TOP. Totally recommend the sundowners at "SImba rock". We were here in May and I can honestly say we were the only jeep on safari in this part of Serengeti, amazing game drives with animals just for ourselves!

If you're looking for a unique and unforgettable oasis in the Serengeti, look no further - book this luxury tented camp. Views are stunning with animals abound. The owner provided personalised and tailored service for my family and this made the stay memorable and enjoyable. The rooms are as comfortable as a 5* hotel with the added benefit of having 360 degree views of the open vastness of the Serengeti. Rooms have all the mod cons of a traditional 5* yet in a tent, even the shower and toilet is top grade! The tent is robust, bed is extremely comfortable and spacious for a family of 4 with young children. The cuisine requires a shout out because its "Michelinesk" quality. The raw ingredients were super fresh, local and beautifully presented. I never went hungry or wanting for more food or wine and I'm a foodie. We booked the safari directly with the camp and the service, Open Air Jeep and Guide were fantastic. The package exceeded expectations. If you're looking for tented accommodation in Serengeti this is the place and worth every moment. I fully endorse and recommend this place for a couple or as a family - we loved it!
