It was my first stay at this hotel and I am very satisfied. i will book again . My room was fine with a nice view , the smell in the room ( by open window ) was unpleasant, but that was probably due to the incense from the temple opposite and it didn't really bother me. I guess, you hardly smell it when the air conditioning was on. The metro station is a few minutes' walk away (tip: exit 14 and 15) . There are great food stores and restaurants in de basements of the shopping malls ,if you are looking for a small bite. If you like shopping in Shanghai I can definitely recommend this hotel.

Large and clean room. Construction work noise and traffic noise from the street present, acceptable though.

Management fails to enforce their Non-Smoking policy. Room and floors were very smoky. Beside this the hotel and staff is okay.

I am very satisfied with this hotel. The location is perfect, just next to Jing'an temple. The room is big and comfortable. I booked it twice. I recommend it to everyone.

This art-deco theme-flirting hotel is tarnished by endless cigarette-smoke in the rooms and at the breakfast area. Perhaps there is more tolerence to cigarette smoke in China or maybe the indoor ventilation brings waves of smoke from other parts the buiding.

This hotel is in a very good location. Staffs are friendly and caring . Shirley Ma at the breakfast room is very helpful and provided good service. A little pricier comparing to neighboring hotels.

The hotel provides excellent service. Every staff is kind and helpful. Thank you Arsen Ye for helping me carry my luggage to the taxi. Also appreciated the concierge for collecting my parcels almost every day. The location is good,many shopping malls and restaurants nearby. The room is not contemporary style but big enough.

As usual, I stayed in this hôtel for a rest week-end. Very convient location in Jingan, front of Jingan Temple. Luxury équipement and furnitures, old style. Clean. Good breakfast.

Best part of this hotel is the location. Train station is just across the road. Easy accessible. Room is quite spacios equip with all the amendities.

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and everything was amazing during the trip. The room was large, with a soft bed and a wonderful view. A safe, hairdryer (located in the closet), mini-bar, TV are also provided. While I was sightseeing in the city, the cleaning service was doing an excellent job at the optimal time. The breakfasts were also great (you can choose European dishes: bacon, sausages, eggs or Chinese: noodles, dim sum and others). Local fruits were also served. If you come to Shanghai as a tourist, this hotel is a very good option because you can reach all the main attractions (Lujiazui, Yuyuan Garden, Art Museum, Zoo, Aquarium, Shanghai Tower) in less than 40 minutes. I will recommend this hotel to my friends!
