The facilities are really good for a stay that is located in the rural area. Getting to the place, though, might be quite rough without a multi terrain vehicle.

This place is a hidden gem and it does have a few twists and turns to get there. It is great place and the family are so friendly and helpful!! The main host lady can speak some English, but she understood what we were talking and asking. Everyone was sooo friendly. The check in was very smooth and the room was so spacious! The view of the mountain in our room was breathtaking. The bathroom is very modern, the shower had great water pressure and there was no waiting for hot water. The bed was comfy, towels were nice and soft and the AC worked very well. They had tea leaves in the room if you wanted to make yourself a nice cup of tea. The view from the roof top was fantastic. The family had all the supplies you may need for hiking such as snacks, drinks, rain pants ponchos, water, tissues, hats etc. They have a good range of Chinese food and what we ate for lunch and breakfast were very tasty. On the menu they had apple pie and banana pie. The pastry tasted like doughnut. Although it would go nicely with ice cream, we enjoyed it. Sorry we were too hungry, that we forgot to take pictures of our delicious food. The family organized a driver to take our luggage to the next homestay, while we hiked on. When we arrived to other locations, our bags were there. This is a place, that is you should consider staying at when hiking along the Tiger Leaping Gorge. Also, the best part of staying at this place is that you meet so many friendly hikers. Totally recommend it!🙌🏼👍👍👍👍

This is a real family guesthouse. They are doing a big construction at the time we stayed there, but that was not a big problem. The room was nice and they have a good english menu with chinees and "western" food

Fantastic homestay on the Leaping Tiger Gorge trail! We started from beautiful Hutiaoxia town and didn't see a single person but a man and his horse until we reached the guest house. Nestled in stunning valley beneath the snow mountain it was an idyllic place to stay. The homestay itself is an old building (currently undergoing additions) in a quiet and peaceful villiage. The atmosphere seemed far nicer than other accommodation we passed later on the trail. The menu was comprehensive and the food was fresh with delicate flavour. The bed was large and comfortable and the linens and bathroom were spotless. We were treated very kindly and we felt very good staying here. Thank you Naxi guest house! :)

We didn’t plan to stay at Naxi family guest house but booked last minute and it was a great idea. Not easy to find with DiDi but we made it by calling the guest house. The check in was a bit slow but the family members are very nice and welcoming. The small village is beautiful and very quiet, our room was very comfortable and the view over the mountain was amazing. The food was good. This is a perfect starting point for Tiger Leaping Gorge hiking.

I really enjoyed my stay here. It is a great place if you are coming from Lijiang and just want to do a little bit before the hike the next day. The family is incredibly kind and they also speak some English. The food was reasonable and delicious; I especially enjoyed the mint beef. It is very clean for a guesthouse in the mountains and I would definitely stay again!

Location was great as a starting point of the Tiger Leaping Gorge trail. The communication and service were excellent. They helped us order a transfer from the airport, everything went smoothly and they even kept the kitchen open for us so that we could order dinner. The rooms were adequate and the food was satisfying. They are in the midst of adding about 20 more rooms to their property, so expect a little bit of noise if you want to stay and relax during the day. They siad that it should be completed by September 2024.

This small family run hotel was our favourite on the tiger leaping gorge hike. They took the most care of us compared to the other bigger establishments we stayed at. The room was large and spacious and had an electric blanket and shower products. It had a view of the mountains. The staff are incredibly nice and provide you with free tea and even gave us some walnuts from the tree! We are vegetarian and there were many meat free options in the English translated menu. The food was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay.

Didn't end up staying as we wanted to hike farther but the host was very nice and the meal was great 👍. Recomend to hike in to here rather than get a ride. Nice trail!

Naxi is a fantastic guesthouse - comfortable beds, great food, attentive staff, and beautiful sunset views. The perfect night’s sleep before continuing Tiger Leaping gorge trek!

The owners are extremely friendly and welcoming. The location is a perfect stop along the trail. We had great meals during our stay!

Naxi Yage is very well located to start your trail at tiger leaping gorges. The family is very friendly and the wife cooks very well, which is very important especially in the morning before your trail. You can also buy supplies there, such as water, chocolate bars etc at a normal price

Perfect place to start the Tiger Leaping Gorge Hike! The hostess was so friendly and helpful, she speaks perfect English. The accommodation is basic and very cold in winter but there was an electric blanket so we slept well. Food was reasonably priced and good. Would definitely recommend!

Ideal location for hikers taking on the Tiger Leaping Gorge. The location of the hotel is different from the map location on Trip.com. It's found about 1.5 hrs into the start of the hike, but you can drive direct to the guesthouse too
