Had an excellent 5 night stay here! Staff (front desk, housekeeping, breakfast buffet) were all very welcoming and helpful, but most do not seem to speak English, so you’ll need to rely on Google Translate or Baidu Fanyi if you can’t speak much Mandarin. We were upgraded to a large corner room that had INCREDIBLE views of the city. The room itself was immaculate - new and well-furnished, clean, modern, with automated curtains and an in-room AI named Huan Peng that can tell you the weather, play you a movie, and even turn off your room lights. The bed had a Serta mattress that was so immensely comfortable after a tiring day of exploring the city, and there were plenty of plug points (international, so no travel adapters needed!), USB and USB C ports. The breakfast buffet had a great variety (both Chinese and Western) with small hot food changes every day. There’s a toast station and baked goods, cereal bar, salads, fresh fruits, some really good overnight oat pots, a fantastic soy milk machine, coffees teas juices, chef-manned noodle soup and cheung fun stations, hot foods, porridges, and some little desserts. There’s a full laundry room with washers, dryers, steam iron, detergents etc, and you can even check from your room tv if your laundry’s ready (or to check if there’s a free dryer before you make your way there). Even their gym room was small but serviceable with new equipment, water bottles and towels provided. In terms of transport, the hotel is right next to the Yannan metro station on Lines 2 and 8 (take Exit C and turn right, the hotel is right there). If you like shopping, COCO Park, The Mix C, and Dongmen Pedestrian Street are all just a few minutes away by metro. There are also loads of local restaurants, coffee shops, convenience stores, pharmacies etc in the hotel’s vicinity - even a Walmart haha. I hope this review was helpful, I honestly can’t recommend this hotel enough, it was faultless… we definitely can’t wait to be back on our next visit!
