Stayed one night for work as I've stayed at other La Quinta properties and have usually been very happy. Check in was super quick, my room was spotless as this hotel is only a year old or so, and everything was very comfy. Then at 9:30PM or so the fire alarm went off. Being that I work in the security/life safety industry I did grab my essentials and head down the stairwell and outside just in case it was an actual alarm. For all you folks that ignore fire alarms there is an unfortunate term for you, you're called casualties. Luckily this was a false alarm and I went back into the lobby and checked the fire system annunciator and saw that the pool area smoke detector had tripped causing the alarm. When I went into the indoor pool area the humidity in there was like a jungle so it's no wonder the detector tripped as they're not made for these conditions. I did let the young woman running the desk know that their fire alarm company should work with the fire marshall to change the device to a heat detector and she said it happens all the time. Luckily the rest of the night was comfy and quiet and I was on the road the next morning ready for the day. Overall I would return if I'm in the area but if the alarm went off in the middle of the night I don't think my review would be so kind.

Arrive Thursday evening for a day of shopping in Lancaster...left room around eight-thirty in Friday morning, returned about 4:30 pm and no maid service... reports to front desk went unattended...at 7pm had to go to front desk and get our own towels....not that clean of a hotel and has went downhill since first staying a few years ago

Things a bit subpar from when I stayed before. There was black mold in the shower corners and a few other spots. Rust at the tub base. Shower head was pulled out of wall and also spray angle was not adjustable, and water was hitting back wall of shower. Some bugs on entrance floor, and also on bed. There was a strong air refresher vapor in the hotel lobby, and to a lesser degree in the hallways....I'm asthmatic, so that was bad. Room did seem clean otherwise, and a/c and heat worked decently. TV worked well, and alarm clock worked. Maids attempted to enter room even though "Do Not Disturb" sign was displayed, and even put the card under the door one morning. I did not respond to their knock, and the door was bolted. Not sure if I will stay here again.

Front desk an staff was very professional and nice greeted us with a great smile 😊 rooms are cleaned, fair price will recommend to family and stay here again. The parking is good and the area. I made reservation in person easy smooth transaction, breakfast delicious and fresh

The front desk staff were nice and helpful. The room and the overall facility was very clean. My only negatives are that the shower tub combination needed caulking as it was shabby. I also believe they had a pool at this facility but the windows were covered up with paper. All in all not a great place but also not terrible. It wasn't worth the price but really how many places are these days.

This is a great La Quinta! Michelle Donley, the Weeknd/night manager, is not only fantastic, but all of her crew are equally wonderful. I am a La Quinta platinum member, and I have been all around the country at various LQs over the years. Far and away, this is the best kept, cleanest, most comfortable, LQ I have ever been in. The staff is outstanding. I understand that the owner is a wonderful guy, and it shows in the care and upkeep of this particular property, and in the attitudes of everyone involved with running this great property. If you are traveling to York, Pennsylvania, this is absolutely absolutely the property I would recommend.

My partner, my 2-year-old son, and I were staying in this hotel for 3 nights for our cross-country travel from Canada to Baltimore. We stopped here because the reviews seemed good, and trusted it would be a nice hotel to stay at. BOY, was I wrong for SO many reasons! First of all, there were cockroaches in our room, not 1 but 2! We managed to catch one of them, to bring to the front desk and because of this, we had to cut our trip short, check out early, and take all our clothing to a parking lot to shake everything out where we found ANOTHER cockroach in my two year olds clothing! They told us to contact the hotel manager, in which they gave us only 50% off of ONE of my nights! I wanted a full refund for everything we had to go through, but they chose to stop responding to my emails instead. ALSO, the front desk staff, are unprofessional and rude, eating food at the counter, gossiping, and talking about other guests staying there. THEN, My partner, my son and I were sitting down to eat breakfast and were the last ones there, and as we were sitting down to eat, the lady cleaning the breakfast area started yelling DIRECTING it to us, making us extremely uncomfortable, saying things like "WOW is it THAT hard to throw out a cup" "It was clean all day until NOW" "People don't know how to throw sh*t out I guess" - We literally didn't leave ANYTHING in there, so I'm assuming it was the people just before us who had 2 children with them. - I can't believe the hellish 2 nights I spent in this place, and advise you to READ THE REVIEWS!!!! - TRUST ME, DO NOT stay here!!!
