it was the best $5 i spent in my whole life.staff are very friendly and food is very delicious and cheap too.very clean and very spacious and lots of friendly travelers.will definitely book again if ill visit siem reap

I didn’t even the water in the room. There was no kettle, body wash, toothbrush & shampoo. Outside food and beverage were not allowed and inside they are selling super expensive. Room was super noisy as we got the room on the ground floor in front of the pool. It was hard to sleep because of music.

Very nice and posh "hostel" (mad monkey is more a corporation now), perfect for young people looking for meeting others, pub crawling and getting frequently drunk.
Check the info you get from the counter (they'll tell you need a taxi to the airport for 30 USD because tuktuks don't go there. Tuktuks actually go asking 15 and you can probably bargain at around 8)

Great hostel, really clean, great and friendly staff, great evening activities.
It would be nice to have had a hairdryer in the room and a hand towel but very minor feedback as the rest was great!

Only stayed for a night as had an early flight. But nice hostel with good vibes. Lots of solo travelers, the partying finishes at around 11ish pm then they go out out so you can sleep.
The food menu is great.
They have 2 pools but no one was in them, just one people partying at the pool party, there was a really loud DJ booth. Felt awkward if I went in the pool.

I stayed there one night and the room was dirty. I wasn’t given a towel so I had to rent it . The outdoor area is nice though . Location is also pretty central.

Good location close to pub street. Good service, I had to move rooms because of a problem with my electricity and the staff were very apologetic and helpful. The water in the room could’ve been a little bit hotter. Good for solo travellers or groups of young people.

I didn’t know mad monkey before come to siem reap. It was my first time here and I would say, it’s absolutely not gonna be my last time. EVERY person who work here are friendly and amazing. Actually I would say they all became friends to me. Service in reception, in desk office, in kitchen (food are amazing as well 😍) every one are adorable. I think about Boren, psikah, soryan, don, papa, Kiki, Rose, saven, Karen… sorry if I forgot names 🙊😂
So if you go to siem reap. Do no hesitate one second and go to Mad Monkey ! You’ll do local activities that hostel can propose, meet amazing people, and also sleep really well, beds are very comfortable.
Thank you so much everyone, you made my experience really cool in siem reap and have now unforgettable memories. 🙏

Had an awesome stay at this Mad Monkey! Have stayed with them all throughout Asia and never let me down! Siem Reap had amazing staff, great pool and really comfy beds! Great place to meet other solo travelers and have a lot of fun with their killer crew running it!
