Dirty. We stayed here this past weekend (8/10-8/11/2024), I left wondering why.?... Room 211 is dirty. From the carpets needing cleaned, to the stains of rust and soapy buildup, in the shower, this poor place is badly in need of an overall bath. I truly expected more. For the price of our suite (Avg. $300 per night), I thought that we would have a two-room area to stay. Okay, so that's not a deal-breaker, and my fault for not researching prior. But I cannot tolerate dirtiness. The exhaust fan, in the bathroom, doesn't work. I think that has led to the buildup of soap, rust, mildew smell, caused by not being properly dried. The toilet is loose from the floor. Had been caulked down previously, and their attempts to cover moldy-like spots, have failed. It needs to be taken-up and re-installed by a pro, not just caulked down. Sadly, this was the second hotel, the same weekend, with that same problem. Is this an area of concern that needs forwarded? I just know it needs fixed. The swimming pool is indoors and is not heated. The cold made my steel-repaired bones ache. No heated spa/hot tub. Yes, that's my own problem, I suppose. It's hard to find good accommodations when you're a disabled veteran. To others with special needs, you may need to look elsewhere. Or clean/neat people as well. It was NOT worth the price I paid. I would not go there again, nor recommend anyone else, until changes are made. I feel like I was ripped-off. I am not just the random type of person that complains about everything. I do visit many places, while trying to enjoy retirement. I hardly ever complain, even at my own peril. I didn't complain here either, because I didn't want the interference. Also, my conditions could worsen by having the interaction needed to fix these kinds of things. This was simply un-acceptable. How did it get run-down so quickly (2 yrs.)? F.S.
