This is our 4th visit to this property in 12-years, and each visit our experience is less enjoyable as the previous. We like this location because we spend most of our time at Turtle Inc. and at Claytons, which are both convenient. Aside from the need for some updating and better housekeeping, the toilet paper and tissue furnished, has to be the absolute cheapest that I have ever experienced, in a US-based major-branded hotel. Our refrigerator didn't work, and we found old and melted food from a previous guest, so we laid our drinks on the AC to keep them cool. What concluded our decision to start staying at the Hilton Garden Inn from here out, (which is actually more convenient to Turtle Inc. and Clayton's), is the overwhelming use of the pool by non-guests. We watched them enter through a pool gate that didn't latch properly and sending kids into the hotel to come and open the gate, when it was actually closed and locked. We watched, and counted, 11 people do this during a single visit, while playing their music and leaving trash and pieces of Styrofoam noodles in the pool and hot tub, which were not cleaned out by maintenance. Staff has to know this is happening and they simply do not care. We never did get to use the pool during our 4-night stay. It was nice while it lasted, but on to better experiences.
