I booked this room for my nephew and his wife, James Giordano. Apparently business is very good at this location. There was a Bat matzah party going on right beneath my nephew’s room and it was very noisy. My nephew called the desk to complain they were unable to sleep due to the loudness. The front desk said it would be over at 11 pm. My nephew said he and his wife asked for a different room away from the noise. The desk was reluctant to fill that request causing my nephew to tell them give us a full refund and we will go somewhere else. The desk agreed to giving them a different room. So they packed up and went to a different room. Very inconvenient and unsettling.

It's a standard HGI. If you want a quieter room, you should ask for an even numbered room, as the odd # rooms face SR 22, which is a divided 4 lane. Even though we had an odd numbered room, the road noise wasn't bad. I am disappointed that the HGi has started charging even for a continental breakfast. All I wanted was an english muffin and was told the continental breakfast was $11. I told the lady I didn't want the breakfast, I just wanted an english muffin. She said it was still $11. We were at another HGI in Virginia the night before and was charged $1.95 PLUS TAX for a mini blueberry muffin. Finished our trip in a Residence Inn at JFK; FULL COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST. Hilton - quit nickel and diming your guests.

This was a great hotel to stay at for our home base, doing family things around NJ. We chose this hotel specifically for the pool, which was a great activity for the kids. It’s not a big pool, but for young kids it did the trick. Breakfast was great. If you include it in your reservation you can get anything off the menu. The service was slow but it’s a small kitchen and small staff. The location is on a main road so if you need places to eat or shop, there are many options nearby. If you’re looking for a great view from your room though, this probably isn’t going to be the place. But it’s not meant to be. Would def stay here again if we do another NJ vacation.

Stayed for 3 nights while my apt was having repairs done. From check in, to breakfast, to housekeeping, everyone was friendly, courteous and good at their job. More importantly, I was impressed with the overall cleanliness. The bathroom literally sparkled. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Woke us up at 8 AM by housekeeping, for the people that get in late and have work the next day!!! This is very inappropriate check out time isn’t until 11AM!! That should not be enforced until 11AM not at 8 AM! The people that are looking to come here for business it isn’t a really good location.

The staff was amazing and friendly. Always very welcoming and accommodating at the front desk. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting and it's a 5 star in my opinion. A special thank you to Mary for the hospitality during our stay...

We stayed here for two days while visiting family in the area. The staff that we met were all helpful and nice. Our room (1 king) was clean and comfortable and plenty of room for two people. The closet space is nice - there are open basket style drawers and shelves in addition to the hanging space and a full-length mirror. Huge console table/desk stretching across the front of the room. Plenty of space to keep things off the floor. The bathroom door is on a slider - at first we thought ours was sticking, but it just needed a good push and it worked just fine. The rest of the bathroom shows a little wear and tear on the finishes, but nothing concerning. Free coffee in the lobby in the mornings. Well-stocked snack bar. There is a bar and restaurant but we didn't use it. If you're not a local route 22 can be intimidating - it's a divided four lane road so depending on how you arrive you may have to make a U-turn. Just follow your maps app - if you miss the turn no stress there will be another chance coming up. Be prepared to drive or rideshare, the area isn't super walkable.

We have family in nearby Maplewood, and have found this to be the nicest hotel in the area. It is clean and the staff are efficient and friendly. The onsite restaurant is a nice feature and we have always found the rooms quiet, comfortable, and immaculate.

We stayed in a very very quiet Sunday evening. We have stayed in Hilton hotels for years. Used a combination of points and cash. They gave us the tiniest room ever seen in any hotel. The water had a price of $3 unless we were a silver member. We used to be good members for years but haven’t traveled much since the pandemic. The receptionist said there was water in the room but didn’t say we had to pay for it. The buffet which is usually free at most hiltons was very expensive for the offering. It’s the closest hotel when visiting my son in Union so it’s very convenient.
