I'm thrilled to say that we enjoyed your 2nd anniversary at your place. It was a wonderful experience &we found rooms beautiful and spacious and appreciated the greenery. We always wanted a calmer location that provided comfort and a serene environment for us. Special thanks to Mr.Zafar & family who made us feel at home & planned our entire trip. Whenever I think of Srinagar I will remember your hospitality only.

I am delighted to stay at this hotel. Their attitude to customers is excellent. Restaurant and service attracts me much. Srinagar staying in this hotel is memorable. They advise me where to go. Accordingly I went some Offbeat places of kashmir and was charmed.

The rooms are good cosy and hygienic. The food is good and received delicious veg food. The staff and the owners are very hospitable, polite and cooperative. Would recommend for customised trips to Kashmir as they also prepare good itinerary and take good care of the visitors

First of all, this hotel and several other hotels have not registered them in booking sites such as MMT,Yatra etc.So when you try to book through these sites, it shows hotels sold out for these dates.But you have to directly call to these hotels to do your bookings. But don’t book this hotel.There is no direct road to this property. You have to walk for approx. 100 meters from main road,even autos will not reach to this hotel.But the owner will say, you will enjoy the walking besides dal lake,but in the name of dal lake there are some small shops and a very little part of dal lake is on the way.You will find many hotels facing Dal Lake with this price.This hotel is not facing Dal Lake.The rooms are full of mosquitos.They will not serve you any snack items and also there is no menu in the hotel. I had requested so many times for just a plate of pakora, one evening they provided after telling excuses that only one cook is there preparing dinner and on other day they simply denied that they can not provide the same. You have to eat as per their choice of meals and at their convenient time. The owner is staying in the hotel premises, and a gentleman by talking. But not providing any assistance at required time.Room amenities are bare minimum and food is not worth.They has tieup with travel agencies and if you wish they can arrange for the same.

My stay at Hotel Akbar was great. The staff was very helpful. They picked up our baggage from the car drop. The food was also pretty good. They helped me and my friend to plan our trip and adjusted the itinerary based on our choices and applicability. The location of the hotel is one of the best in the entire Srinagar. One can take morning/evening walk around the Dal lake and explore the local area. Rooms were clean and felt luxurious. Overall, I'd say, this is one of the best place for tourists to stay, in Srinagar.
